I'm a 30 something home-maker, writer and researcher. Harry Potter fanfiction is my passion and my great escape from everything. I am deeply in love with Severus Snape and he is the only man I would ever consider leaving my husband for. I am most fond of happy endings. Life is too full of angst and heartache, my dreams and thoughts need something more uplifting.
I was born in Sri Lanka and have lived in India, Poland and now, obviously the UK.
I love food, so many of my stories will have detailed descriptions of things I'm currently craving. I also love travelling, the arts and crafts, cooking, baking, oil painting, especially the pre-Raphaelites, literature and culture in general. My favourite colours are at present are royal purple, silver, emerald green, true red and fucshia. Colour is like music, it speaks silently to the soul when it needs it most.

Hello and thank you so much for the funny and witty review and the lovely stars. Yes, that should show Rom what a frigid bitch is indeed :)
Well Ron and Harry are definately show how true of a friend they really can be. Poor Hermione at least she is getting the Darkness out of her system. I look forward to your updates.

Hello and thank you so much for the review and the lovely stars. Yes, Ron and Harry are showing Hermione what good friends they are - but she's not alone, and that's the most important thing. And this horrible visit to Hogsmeade will help Hermione really put their false friendship behind her once and for all and move forward, which is definitely a good thing for her.
"Feeling supremely in control of the direction of their association, he smirked inwardly at his success."Hum. An omen? Will that line be deliciously reversed?Great job! It's nice to see a Severus that's not trying to resist a match, but is willing to go with the flow and enjoy it.

'Operation Lion Hunt' - Love it!! hehe Great chapter - I love seeing cunning, Slytherin Severus and I think you've done him very well. Looking forward to seeing how you progress their relationship! xXx

Hello and thank you for the review and the pretty stars. I'm pleased you've enjoyed the story thus far. :) I did enjoy writing a cunning Severus and the lion-hunt comment did make me grin as I was writing it - it was very like Severus to think like that.
He's qite the sneaky one. Living up to his reputation. :)
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review. I don't think a non sneaky Severus would be really possible :)
I really like this Severus. I like a Severus who knows what he wants and goes for it, as long as said want is Hermione that is...:-)) The Lion-hunt comment was brilliant.
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review and the pretty stars. I'm pleased you've enjoyed the story thus far. :) I like this Severus too. I'm glad you thought the Lion-Hunt quip worked :)
mmm, you've written a very charming Severus Snape.Nice change from the darker angstier versions often around. Plus his calculating ways are amusing to watch...hehethx
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you so much for the review.I'm glad you're enjoying my version of Severus and the story. I couldn't help but think he would try to plot his way through romance and seduction. Though, he does have a bit of an angsty moment in the not too distant future.
This story has a lot of potential, I'm looking forward to more.

Hello and thank you so much for the review. I'm really pleased you're enjoying the story and my version of Severus for this story.
oh I love this seductive Severus....;-) ....and I love the way this story goes....here`s hope for a soon update!
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you so much for the review. I'm really pleased you're enjoying a seductive, plotting Snape.
You know a great fic when you read one when you become an emotional mess:) I love it.
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you so much for your warm review.I'm so pleased that the story touched you emotionally. Thank you too for the lovely stars. xxx
I am so trilled that Minerva not only realised who the woman in the prophecy was, but also persuaded Severus to accept it, and think about it, I think she did outstanding groundwork there. Can one grant point to teachers? And, talking about points, Gryffindor should suffer some grand losses for their disrespect towards Severus, can you at least let Ginny get some really ugly pimples on her nose?As usual looking forward to read more
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review and the pretty stars,I've not really thought about a punishment for Ginny. Hmmm... I just though the universe would see to it :)

Hello and thank you for the review and the pretty stars :)I always felt that Minerva was under-used as a character. Here, she seems like a good person to step in and say what needs to be said, especially because she's seen both of them grow up. Besides, I think she wants to make amends and show she's really their friend now.I've not really thought of getting back at Ginny. The universe will see to that when needed :)
Well, it's obviously Hermione, but what if it isn't? Seems like Minerva is jumping to some conclusions. But I think Severus will take a slower approach. (Hopefully not so slow that he causes all that anguish that was prophesied.)
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review.Yes, it does seem as though Minerva's jumping to conclusions, but Severus is never going to rush anything. Besides, he's a Slytherin, they plot :)
Wow, I hope Harry and Ron get help. You've got me worried about them as Hermione is. Hopefully she'll be able to set them on the right path again
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review and the pretty stars.Yes, well there's only so much that can be done from the outside. I think Harry and Ron need to grow up and deal with their issues on their own - Hermione can only mother them so long.
Three cheers for Sybill Trelawney! I've never said that before. She usually scares me, but here she's acting like a matchmaker of sorts. Who knows how long it would have taken SS and HG to get together on their own? Hermione seems in a place all her own, no longer fitting in with the students, nor yet proven herself to the staff. This year will be tough for her no doubt.
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review.Sybill is a really useful character, though I don't think she had any idea of being a match-maker.I think the prophecy will help Hermione find her place sooner than expected.
Firstly, that was a great sorting hat song! I'm sure they must be hard to write and I really enjoyed your version. I'm enjoying this story but I can't say I'm loving the the latest new twist. It seems really unfair to the parties involved but I'm keeping an open mind and looking foward to seeing where you're going. I do really like your take on the use of Dark Magic. I can't wait to see how you use it to deal with Harry and Ron. Please keep the chapters coming!
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review. The sorting hat song was surprisingly easy to write actually. As for the prophecy, I do agree it was unfair, but it will help them in the long-run.Thank you too for the lovely stars. xxx
Thank you so much for the update. I think I said in my first review that I really like your story, if not I am saying it here; I think you have a gem of a story here, one I very much look forward to follow. Severus thougths about the new syllabi were well reasoned, my compliments:-))
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review,I'm glad you've enjoyed the story thus far. I hope the rest lives up to the opening expectations. xxx
ah well, let`s wait and see how the headmaster and the Gryffindor princess will get along.....can`t wait!Nice chapter!
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for your review,I'm glad you're enjoying the story thus far. Chapter three will be up soon hopefully :)xxx
I really like this first chapter....sounds promising. Do you already know about the lenght of your story or how often you are planning to update? Don`t get me wrong, no pressure from my site, but I do hate to read something good, and then realise it will never be finished in the next years...;-)
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review,I'm not quite sure of the length, but I do hope to keep updating fairly frequently since my beta's already read and worked on chapter 10, and I've got 14 of them already written. Don't worry. I'm not the type to adandon a story. I hate it when that happens. BestTasneem aka kittyperry
Response from ginny24 (Reviewer)
now that sounds allright...lol
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Good :) I'm always happy to please my readers :)
It's nice to see the staff so supportive, especially after everything that happened before.
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review,Yes, I do think the rest of the staff have realised the error of their ways and are going to be extra supportive and dedicated to Severus. xxx
LOL. Doesn't sound like Hermione will have much time for shenanigans with the boys! :)
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review,The boys are not going to be the same as they were before the war unfortunately. Things are going to really change in the next few chapters. Hopefully, you won't hate me too much for what happens.xxx
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
Never! It's your story to tell, after all! :)
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Thanks :) It's nice to have some support :)
I predict Hermione will gladly accept all the responsibility bestowed upon her. But the stress, who will help her deal with the stress of teaching all those courses? Can the Headmaster provide some relief for her? Hmm?
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review,Of course Hermione is going to accept everything given to her, she's like that. But, I think the professors are perfectly aware of her workaholic tendencies and they will help her manage things. Besides, Severus the provider of stress-relief does sound kind of interesting :Pxxx
Response from Clairvoyant (Reviewer)
Arithmantic equation:Hermione + stress (too many irons in the fire) + Severus + stress-relief (citrus fruit?) = NC-17 rating?
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
That sounds like a delightful idea :) Good thing lemons are in the wings :)
Excellent start!
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you so much for taking the time to tell me you liked the opening :)
Severus not wanting Potter and Granger on staff? Shocking! Apologies were definitely necessary and I think well received.
Response from kittyperry (Author of What Is This Thing Called Love?)
Hello and thank you for the review. Glad you liked the concept thus far.
