I'm a 30 something home-maker, writer and researcher. Harry Potter fanfiction is my passion and my great escape from everything. I am deeply in love with Severus Snape and he is the only man I would ever consider leaving my husband for. I am most fond of happy endings. Life is too full of angst and heartache, my dreams and thoughts need something more uplifting.
I was born in Sri Lanka and have lived in India, Poland and now, obviously the UK.
I love food, so many of my stories will have detailed descriptions of things I'm currently craving. I also love travelling, the arts and crafts, cooking, baking, oil painting, especially the pre-Raphaelites, literature and culture in general. My favourite colours are at present are royal purple, silver, emerald green, true red and fucshia. Colour is like music, it speaks silently to the soul when it needs it most.

Oh thank god Harry is coming around... I really hate fics where they paint him as bad. I wish I could see the look on Molly's face though! I feel like you've really pegged her, especially after her treatment of Hermione in book 4 after Rita's love triangle article. I'm loving this story

I just started this today and told myself to wait until I caught up to review, but I just had to take a moment to say OMG Ginny is a BITCH in this. lol and that I'm really enjoying this story.

I loved how sweet and reassuring she was with him, and how sweet and reassuring he was with her when she was dealing with her parents.

Ok, I don't think I have stopped by to review this yet; I just sort of swallowed it whole in one sitting. So thirteen chapters later, it's hard to point out specifics. Let's see: The boys are jerks; Hermione is freakishly excited about academics; Boys are even bigger jerks; Trelawney has a moment of clarity; Severus is sweet (but Slytherin to the core); Getting to know you time; A dash of angst; Hermione is level headed but a go-getter; Boys are still jerks; A big overflowing barrel of perfect little lemons; Cranky parents; Sweet Severus (minus the Slytherin undertones); A wonderful getaway for two *takes deep breath*Yeah, those are the things I liked ;)

‘The jeweller Gunananda took me to said that the ring had special charms and powers built into it. I was not told what they all were, but that they were to do with love, fidelity, fertility and prosperity. He said they would be released at opportune moments. I suspect we just released the first of them, love.’Severus and Hermione both professed and then physically expressed their love, so I'm guessing what was released is a charm to protect their love? If so, woe betide the unfortunate soul that dares to try and come between them.As for the fertility part of the ring, could the pitter-patter of little Sevs and Hermiones be far behind?Sad about Crookshanks though, it sounds like Hermione misses him so badly. Too bad the ring can't do anything about that. : (

Hello and thank you for the review and stars.Yes, the charm will I think help protect their love, and allow people who love them to express their affection more openly. As for the fertility part of the ring, I'm not giving the plot away, but I can't see them not having children :)
Love the story so far.I can't wait to read Hermione's first meeting with Malfoy and how everyone takes the news.So will Ron and Harry ever get better?

Hello. Indeed, he is one of a kind. I don't think there's really anyone quite like him around. But if you do find him, ask if he's got a twin brother :)When I married my husband, I had to explain to him that there was another man in my life - and that he would have to share me. Thankfully he didn't mind, I guess its because in his male-mind, he thinks it's just a fictional character :)Happy New Year.
