Ah, a lovely ending.  While I didn't care for Severus at the beginning of the story, I did enjoy seeing how he progressed from denial to acceptance.  Sorry, I can't think of anything else to say; the soppy smile on my face is impeding higher brain functions, which is a good thing because I'm in such a good mood now.  I really enjoyed this story overall, and I'm very curious as to who you are, Myster Author.

Very enjoyable tale.  I think your version of a Snape too frightened to be kind to a woman he loves is likely under the circumstances.  Some men who've been through less than he has act that way.Thank you for sharing Liam with us.  I'd like to see more of him, too.

A wonderful story!  I hate to see it end!  While Hermione acted only more than slightly unreasonable most of the tale and Severus seemed to be the more mature of the two...it was an event and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yess! That's what I'm talking about when I said for Hermione to give him hell. LOL, I really enjoyed the story. When Severus made the comment about her gaining weight, it was funny and real because even he shouldn't be 100% totally smooth. (Even though we would like him to be.) 10 stars in my opinion.

First of all I'd like to echo makaem's suggestion about further "stories in this setting."  This storyline fairly begs for more!  If you are of a mind.This was such a wonderful story of one wizard's battle to overcome his fears of abandonment and loss.  Severus Snape has never found it easy to gift his heart to anyone, and after losing both of the women who meant anything to him, one to someone else (and then death) and the other to an unexpected death, I can completely understand how difficult a journey this would have been for him.Although I wish he hadn't treated Hermione so callously, I expect it of him, and I am usually rewarded with his difficult and hard won struggle to achieve his better nature.  This has been such a story, and the reward of reading it has been great... from the sad beginning with a drunken Ron making fun of his wife, Hermione, to the marriage of Severus and Hermione and the birth of their beautiful baby girl.  Rose has clearly come to love Severus.  And Hugo and Liam have been folded into a loving family, and now the shy, young boys are becoming comfortable in this their new life. It don't get no better'n this!  A Thousand Points to Your House!With kindest regards and my thanks,Beth

Why did she forgive him everything SOOOO quickly?  She should've left.  Somehow he should've realized the dirt he didn't know about saint wifey #1 and how badly he treated Hermione, and publicly atone for it in some sweet romantic way.  Then she could have forigiven him.  But I love the new baby; very sweet!

It seemed a long time for them to work things out but I'm glad they finally did. I liked that Liam is being included also. It shows the more modern side of family that many - maybe even most - expereince in this day and age as opposed to the typical traditional style family usually depicted in fan fiction. I usually hate big, happy endings on principle alone, but I must admit this one had me grinning like mad! So sweet. Interesting choice of Chloe, someone you know? I like alot.

He's lucky it was Hermione and not me, but I enjoyed the happy ending.
