This was not what Severus expected when he confronted Hermione Weasley about payment of his life debt.
This is my response for the Dictionary Drabbles Fun Challenge for March 22.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

Ron is a Jerk, but then so is Severus. Who to choose....
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Well she gave a go with the first and would like a change of a go with the second. Thank you for the reveiw.
You really are doing a wonderful job with using all the words and making them flow with your storyline, and keeping them in character!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you very much. Hope you didn't miss the bonus in the reviews.
Noooo, of course he will be perfectly capable of restraining himself!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Yesss, I know, dang that stubborn man.
Ahhh, he thinks he will be able to restrain himself now...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Yeah, I know! Teehehe Did you see the bonus in the reviews? He's hasn't a prayer!
You know, Severus may have required her to wear those nightclothes, but he didn't say she couldn't alter them. She should do some stitching...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Oh, she will do something all right! (hint: to finnd out search the reveiws!) Thank you for the review.
Has he still not learned never to challenge a Gryffindor?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
I don't think he's got on to her ulterior motives yet... silly guy.
I'm really enjoying the vocabulary lesson wrapped around an interesting story. I'll admit, I'm averaging knowing the meanings of five of the seven words each time, but putting the pronounciation and definition at the end of each chapter is brilliant. I read a lot, but seldom actually hear the words, and there have been many alternative meanings that I haven't seen before or haven't been able to catch contextually.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you. I enjoying having the vocabulary lesson each week, and since I figured I was ging to give a go - might as well see if I could creat a story as well. I keep the pronounciation and meanings under my notes because like you, I wouldn't know it either without the assistance. Thank you very much for the reveiw. (hint: go scan the other reveiws! There's a bonus hidden there!)
Now that we know that Hermione has outside help, I'm sure Severus doesn't stand a chance. And disobeying the idea while not disobeying in absolute is genius.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
I think I'd call Ginny an a coconspiritor and an acomplice! But yes, with a spunky witch like Ginny and our britest witch of her age, Hermione, Hermione may just end up getting exactly what she wants! Besides, disobeying while staying percisely within the peramanters of Severus' demands - not even Fred and George could do better than these two girls! (hint: did you see the additional bit in the reveiws?)
Response from septentrion (Reviewer)
Thanks for the hint! oh, it'll be perfect.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Keep in mind - I will be adding a juicy tid bit to the first review I recieve with the next chapter as well... shhh! Well, maybe you should tell. Teeheheh
Response from septentrion (Reviewer)
Well, being the first reviewer depends on what time the story shows up on the site,a nd if I'm online at that moment.
Start with thigh high side splits on the nightshirts girls!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Oh, good idea! I'll use that!! (hint: check the reivews...)
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
LOL was in a hurry, didn't read the other reviews first!
I enjoyed this. thank you for your speedy updates. This is very cute. I loved your additional scene in the reviews here! how fun!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you. Thanks to my terrific beta, I am able to post these almost as fast as a day after I write it. I'm glad you saw the extra in the reveiws.
kowtowing to a madman, not cowering. Serving two masters not severing two masters. Good chapter nonetheless. Thanks.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you for the heads up. and Thank you for the review.
You have used acquiescence instead of acquiesced to. The proper wording is "she acquiesced to his demands">
Acquiescence is the noun not the verb form. Great chapter.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you for the tip. Missed one. Thank you for the review.
Thank you this is getting better all the time.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you. It's fun coming up with ways to use the words and advance the stroy.
Always knew Ron was the least mature of the trio. He certainly flounces around, doesn't he?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Teehehe a late bloomer! Thank you for reviewing
Very nicely done. Combining such disparate words into a cohesive staryline is difficult but you are doing a lovely job. Thanks.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you very much. Really trying to do just that!
Coming along nicely. Thanks
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you very much!
This is an interesting use of anathema. In college we used it differently. "I cannot do that; it is anathema to me." But that was about four centuries ago. Good chapter. Thanks
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
I was using the definitions SW gave me! I'm glad you liked my attempt.
Too cool. He is the only man I know of that doesn't sound like a pompous git when he uses words most American men don't even know exist.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Teehehehe Well, thankfully, because I just couldn't figure out how to make them work with Ron or Harry! *
A wizzarding nightshirt? Hmm, get one a size or two too small and a female figure should emerge!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
"I've got it!" Ginny exclaimed. "A light cotton shirt for summer, poet-style with string ties, loose sleeves and it's short!" Ginny passed the light blue garment to her through the dressing room curtain.Hermione slipped into it. It hung just below her bum, showing off her legs under the generous hemline. "Well he can't say I didn't pick one out that wasn't my size," she said, turning to look at her backside in the mirror. The hemline hiked up, nearly showing her knickers. "Gin, the front comes down too far, it shows my bra.""Then it's perfect, right?" Ginny asked. "Is it see through? It looked pretty sheer on the hanger."Hermione pushed the curtain aside and Ginny grinned. "Blimey, you can see your figure right through the thing!""Now all it needs is a bit of lace," Hermione said, grinning. "See if they have a second one."Hermione quickly changed back into her clothes. Ginny was waiting, holding a second nightshirt of the same fabric and style only in an off-white. "Truthfully, I don't think you'll need lace on them," Ginny said as Hermione paid the shop assistant. "Ginny?" Hermione asked as they left the shop. "What if it doesn't work? I mean he really hasn't shown one shred of interest.""Hermione, it's only been a little over a month. He probably still sees you as his ex-student. Sometimes it takes a bit for a bloke to realize you've grown up. Besides, we are taking about Severus Snape. I don't think he's been interested in a witch since Harry's mum.""You're right," Hermione said with a heavy sigh. "His Patronus was still a doe when he lured Harry to find Gryffindor's sword. I wonder what it would have been if he'd not loved her so much.""A hawk or a very large bat," Ginny said, laughing. "Come on, lets go see if George can join us for lunch."
Response from sinbad (Reviewer)
OOOOKKK, nice to know we are on the same wave length. :D
That was quite amusing.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you very much.
Half the fun is reading and trying to figure out which words are from the word list. Another great chap!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you. On my copy on my thumbdrive the words are blue... but that doesn't help, does it? Teehehe. (hint: I've a bonus in the reviews!)
Another good chapter beaweasley, I think Ron is being a jerk and Hermione is getting tired of it.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Sinbad - on the head of the matter again! Thanks for the reveiw and I appeaciate your support.
Ron needs to chill. Or break it off.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
This is the first look at the Hermione/Ron realtionship in this stroy. I just wanted to show that things aren't working out, and that George, Ginny and Harry know it isn't. So no - sorry, If I show the Ron/Hermione agian - they will be fighting over the fact that 1. she isn't available everytime he is, 2. they are not having sex and 3. Hermione is realizing they aren't working out. Sorry... He's beeing a git in this. But Hermione is trying to finish her NEWTs and get ahead in potions (yeah right)Thank you for the reveiw. I appreciate the support.
Great chapter, can't wait for next week!gab
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Thank you, gabi.
Ha! I knew we would get to the part where Ron acts an idiot again.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of Repaying The Life Debt)
Yes, sorry for any Ronald fans out there... I thought it rather odd that JK had Ron both Auror training and a working in his brother's shop - two full time (possibly) jobs plus don't forget training = homework, right? So I figured Hermione wuld be as busy - So yes, since she's not aroung when He wants her, Ron gets pissy.Thank you for the revirew, I really appreciate it.
