Lovely & charming bit of fluff. Really good for the soul. The best part is the revelation of Luna - utterly briiliant! Very clever. 

Hehe, I loved the ending- I'd privately wondered if Luna was just making something up at first, since she didn't think they should marry, but I guess since there was a real prophesy, it still counts. ;)
Also, curious why you chose to talk about the paintings in Tate that you did. Any specific reason for each one?

Severus is making a real effort to open up, and Hermione ts responding, on to the Tate. 

Looks like Severus will be going,"a wooing" sooner than he thinks.

Severus is not the problem, Hermione is not one to let go of a dream easily, and that is what the reationship with Ron is , a dream of how she wants it to be.l

What a lovely, well-written story!!

Delightful story, beautifully told. I love this Snape, I've always thought of his snarky nature as a guise to prevent anyone getting close enough to find out his long held secrets. I think it would have made him lonely, but I always thought he would be a kind lover, not a cruel one.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the story, many thanks for writing it.

Ruh-roh! Oh Ron...

I'm in the middle of the story, and I have to tell you, I really didn't like this chapter. Hermione was an idiot!  I don't see how she couldn't believe in her prophecy. Stubbornness, I guess?  I mean, she's saying Luna isn't a seer, well, what makes a person a seer if not a prophecy?  Like, does she think someon'e supposed to get a license or an honorary membership card? Does it show up in their Xrays? "Authentic Seer". I don't know how she knows for certain Luna's not. 

And crying like that?  It was John Lennon who sang "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". Sorry Hermione, but you DO NOT control everything that happens to you in your own life just because you want things to happen a certain way. She's very narrow minded in her perspective and comes off childish because of it.

Great twist at the end! Lovely, lovely little story!!

What a delightful story! I like your take on Luna. Too often, she comes off as either just weird, or a goody-two-shoes. In this story, she's still has a warm, open heart, but a bit of a crafty mind :D

I love your depiction of Luna!  Who would have thought there was so much to the lovely Loony Luna Lovegood?  She is a very clever witch, she is.Severus and Hermione have found each other, and Luna and Draco have embarked on their own journey together.  The perfect ending to a perfect story!I really enjoyed this tale of love found and brought to completion.  Along the way, when I read some of the discussions among the other members of the Order, I remember wondering if Ginny had written the wrong word when she wrote "sun." Surely the word could have been "son." And that would have made a world of difference!  You see, I am partial to our Potions Master, and I want only the very best for him.  AND that is precisely what you have given me -- and Severus and Hermione!Thank you for a throughly enjoyable story!!  Well done!!Beth

The unhurried pace with which you have Severus minister to Hermione's needs is perfect.  He is sincere in his want of her, but patient in his pursuit of her, mindful of her needs and wants.  His delicate treatment of her, of being sure that he understands exactly want she wants, is so comforting.  With unthreatening questions, Severus helps her to voice exactly what she wants, the better to meet her needs, not to merely service his own.  He is such a patient lover -- considerate, kind, unhurried, and passionate.  The following passage shows just how much he wants to please her, to meet her needs and wants, not just his own:Hermione’s nervous babbling broke him from his reverie. “It’s been a while since I’ve been here – last summer I believe. Sorry about the bit of dust. Erm … this is obviously the sitting room – it is my favourite room in the house – and the kitchen is through that door over there. There is a small study over this way, and up the stairs are two b-bedrooms.”Severus covered his amused smile with his hand as he listened to Hermione stumble over the word. Perhaps it was time to determine her expectations for this holiday.“It is already three o’clock,” he said. “Why don’t we unpack and settle in a bit. I enjoy the little details you include in your narrative, such as: "He saw his wall clock reflected in the glass and smiled inwardly." I like the way you have written Luna's character. I always liked her, and it is good to "see" this side of her.Hermione and Ron's decision to end their engagement was sad for both of them, but I know, just like they do, it was the only right thing to do.Now ..... it's time for SEVERUS !!!  I just love Severus the bestest of all.And I love this story!  Beth
