I loved the epilogue. I'm always for a Snape/Granger ending. And I liked the way you resolved the question of whether or not it was a prophecy. It was a prophecy and Luna was clever enough to repeat it. A Ravenclaw with Slytherin tendancies. I wonder if someone should warn Draco? I'll definitely be on the lookout for your Luna-Draco story.

That is so from the movie Pride and prejudice isnt it! were mr Darcy kisses Lizzie and repeats "mrs Darcy"everytime!!!
And if it isnt, well you copied it nonetheless (A good thing too, as thats my favourite part!)

Once I knew that the prophecy was real - as well as a ploy by Luna - the rest fell into place. A bit of romantic fluff, yes, but with a bit of an unexpected plot. :) I'm so glad you liked it!

Ah, yes. Rabid plot bunnies. Pesky little things, aren't they? I'm currently writing Draco and Luna's story, but then have plans to return to SSHG to write a DH compliant fic. I'm really excited about that one as it will be completely different from anything else I've ever written. :)

AHA! I <i>thought</i> Luna being a seer was fishy, very fishy...you very cleverly worded the 'prophecy' so that it could be misinterpreted. I really enjoyed reading this, ssgh316. You did a lovely job with all aspects of this story!

I a so glad that things finally came to a head. It was rather convenient that Charlie was gay. It made things a whole lot easier for our favorite couple. I loved that last scene. Even when being romantic, Snape still maintains his snark factor. Great chapter.

Thank you! Charlie being gay was the idea of one of my beta readers who felt all the loose ends needed to be tied up, and it certainly did help matters in the end. :) The last scene is one I worried over, as I wanted Severus to be romantic with Hermione, but still snarky with everyone else. I'm relieved you think I was able to accomplish that. Only the epilogue to go.
Yes, Awwwww, how sweet! But in a good way. I have no problem with a 'sweet' Severus. After all, he's been through enough at the pen of his creator. He deserves a break.

That was a beautiful chapter. The writing was impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the scene were Anape disabuses Hermione's idea of snogging. I am excited for the next chapter.

And then there's the issue of the steps! You wrote these bits only a few lines apart from each other:
' ...and the old worn steps had been replaced with new ones. They walked up the stone steps, ...'
Did Harry replace the steps outside with stone, or did he replace the multi-floored levels of steps inside ... or the ones down to the kitchen? Would replacement steps disappear with the rest of the house? These are very important elements, you know...Just being a bother;)
