Flashbacks are hell, you never know what will set one off. I hope Minerva will be able to cover for them, Severus is going to be furious when he finds out.
Well now that didn't go very well... 3 months you said? This should be really fun, can you imagine if Ron and Harry knew!
Oh, this can't be good...how will they explain this?? Since when does Professor Snape faint? He was a Death Eater, for crying out loud...he probably saw things that would make most people wet themselves, yet he kept his cool (if he hadn't, methinks Voldemort would have seen through him).
A twist I didn't expect. Very nice!
If Severus and Hermione ever decide to start having sex with each other, their Polyjuice could be a lot of fun. The way they keep experimenting, I could picture them with each other while switched. It would definitely up the kink factor, I think. I feel bad for Phoebe; she really wants to stay where she is. Hopefully Minerva can help with that. I'm looking forward to seeing how things go when they eat with the other teachers.
That was a nice coming to an understanding. A smart and interesting way to have a good nightsleep.
LOVE THIS CHAPTER! I'm enjoying the get close/back away nature of their friendship. And I like the common interests and common experiences you've given them. Now, bringing addiction into it - his, hers, and Winky's - is a nice twist.
I especially like Winky's role, her care for both of them, her fear about what could happen to them, and her own frailty as she tries to deal with her own addiction, poor thing. I'm putting this in my alerts - don't want to miss the weekly postings! :)
Tried to read it all in one go. Waiting patiently for next chapter
I'm enjoying this fic quite a lot, but you have totally won my heart with this:
"some stared accusingly at the sleeping form of Albus Dumbledore. On the odd occasion that he did leave his frame, Dumbledore became main topic of conversation. Opinion was divided as to whether he was a genius or a manipulative bastard, but one thing they all did agree on was that he had treated Severus Snape very shabbily indeed."
I don't know if I've read a story that expresses that so succinctly before, or confirms that other former headmasters (besides PNB) had such misgivings about Dumbledore.
Amazing story, believable Snape (thank god), keep up the good work!
Bittersweet, wonderful chapter. I really like the way this story swings between fun and heartrendering sadness.
Aww, they make such a cute couple.. They need to just get things together and become a pair already!! Can't wait for anot!her update
That was both hilarious and then very moving.
laughter and tears, blended together perfectly, a wonderful chapter.
Poor little Winky, it is so sad to see her so upset. There are always victims of war that are overlooked usually children, they say thing like " they won't remember " or " they'll bounce back " But they DO remember, and DON'T just bounce back. They simply suffer in silence untill something triggers a memory, and all hell breaks loose.
I hope there is plenty of hangover potion in stock.
So how piss-faced will our dear professors get tonight? Enough to let something slip about their feelings towards the other?? :) I can't wait for more Polyjuice trials!
Mhm, I see lots of trouble and misunderstanding, hurt feelings and broken hearts in future chapters. And it will all be wonderfully written, thank you!

You are so kind. Thanks for reading x
Aww, that's sad, but I think you're very en pointe to have him size himself up. I don't know anyone who wouldn't. I do love his sense of humor, as does Hermione, it seems. Love where this is and where it's going.
I trust Hermione does not see Snape as Snape sees Snape... looking forward to the next chapter!
This was a really fun chapter. I love her threat of taking a shower. His apology was nice. It was minimal and sincere, just as I'd expect. It's sad the way he sees himself in the end, but it's so true. Like how you go through life self-confident until you see a picture of yourself and gasp in horror.
Oh Severus is naughty, poor Hermione. lol
Snape is making jokes, Hermione is picturing him in her knickers ... I'd say we are making progress! He's probably hoping she'll touch him some more, and I'm hoping she'll cover him with ketchup and show him it's redeeming qualities. Or perhaps we need a little more relationship building before we jump head first into condiment sex. ;)
Lily saw Severus as a fair-weather friend? Talk about irony! She's the one who dumped him at sixteen over a word spoken in panic and humiliation, while he stayed loyal to her memory for decades. Well, it's not surprising. People in Snape's life always seem to project their own faults onto him, and he, sad to say, accepts it.

That's what is meant by a fair-weather friend, is it not?
Response from Very Small Prophet (Reviewer)
We're agreed on the definition, but not about who it applies to, Lily was the fair-weather friend, not Severus. Lily might have believed it of Sev, but she was deluded.
I think Hermione and Severus could have waaayy to much fun as each other. Especially when they become intimate. Poor Severus, though. He's being forced to take a good look at himself. What he hopefully will soon realize, is that Hermione is the type to like him just as he is. I'm looking forward to the next update.

Fun?? lol... that's one way of putting I think! Thanks for reading x
