Reviews for Transcendent Quality of Remembrance
It is a sad day that there will not be anymore wonderful stories like this coming from you; but everything does have its season. As a long time reader (7yrs.), and not part of the inner circle of ff writers, I am very appreciative that you are letting us know of your departure and your future endeavors. You've got a fan for life and I eagerly look forward to engrossing myself in your original works as much as I have in your work here. Please let us know when and where we can find them. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I have marked your livejournal page in my favorites so I can be on the lookout for those great works of art.
Hope that your future writing goes from strength to strength, i have followed every part of this story enjoying the twists, the emotions both ss/hg have shown through your pen ship. I Loved the music playlist in each chapter. It set the mood through each chapter i will so be reading this story from start to finish again
Best of Luck with your career. I hope you will find the inspiration you need for your original characters such that they will leap off of the page (rather than being dragged kicking and screaming).
I really respect your dedication to quality writing. I cannot imagine how much time and energy you must spend to get things right. I hope your future efforts will repay all of that time and effort with success.
I also hope the fandom will not completely lose you. Maybe an occasional chapter of Owned? Or a story with a premise that will not let you pass it up? Any doorway to help us hear from you and stay current with you, as you are now a friend and not just a name on a piece of paper.
Thanks fo a wonderful story, I wish you all the best in your future writings... And please come back to write one-shots once in a while! ;)

! I don't know if old fanfic writers ever go away completely. I'm sure I'll be around.
This is a sad, sad moment. I will miss the weekly updates on this story. But at the same time, I admit that I am happy the two of them can have some emotional peace and stability. Quite a few months they have been through? One of the things I like most about SS/HG is their bantering and Snape's sardonic ways. Both things you have captured very well in your story. And their fragility, albeit it is of such different nature.Thank you so much for sharing the story with us. I wish you all the best in your future original writing, and am looking forward to reading it one day.Love,--Clara

I will certainly miss making the weekly updates, and the enjoyment of reading the reviews over the weekend. I am glad I captured some of your favorite things in this story. I appreciate your comments more than you can know.
Aww, I'm sad that we can't look forward to more lovely fanfic from you, but I wish you all the best with Real Life! This chapter is one of the reads keeping my spirits up as my country recovers from a typhoon, no kidding. So long as you keep your fics in the archives, we'll have so much quality material to read and savor again and again.
Love! Cant wait for the next chapter!
Dearest Subversa,
I won't cry about the end of an era, or beg you to reconsider your exit from fanfiction, because I strongly believe when it is time, it is time. What I do hope is that you are leaving fanfic in order to pursue original fiction, because you have a level of talent that would be a shame to waste. If this is the case, please keep us updated on your progress. If not, well, you were my first love in fanfiction, and you always remember your first love with great fondness, regardless of how things may have ended. Best of luck to you in whatever you do.
Oh, yes, there was a story to comment on, wasn't there? Oh, trusty Hagrid. I am so glad he was able to deliver her message. Not as glad as I am that Severus decided to read it, of course. The worst part about all of this is that these two are on the same page, wanting the same things from their lives. But, he is too angry and self-deprecating, and she is too helpless and hopeless to do anything about it. Well, except for the tiny (well, not so tiny, I suppose) missive she has written. I wonder how he will react? Will we get to read what she wrote? Will she get into the school, but with her husband in tow? Or does education even matter to her at the moment? You're leaving me with a million questions, right up to the end. I cannot wait to see how this turns out. Then, I won't be able to wait on the end of Owned. You promised *whines* :)
This is an amazing chapter. I love Hagrid's delivery service and Severus' reaction. Please please please do not remove any of your stories, as I go back to them from time to time... just like my favorite books! Thank you! Ruth
At least he's reading it, it would be just like Severus to dig his heels in and not read it at all.
Well Hagrid was a perfect solution for Hermione to get her manifest in to Severus' hands. I'm just happy that he was willing to open it and give it a go right away instead of being mulish and putting it aside until later. Now we wait to see how it affects him... ok, at least it's only a week.
As for you no longer writing fanfic, does this mean you have an original that you are working on? And should I be ready to scour bookstore shelves for it??? That would be a wonderfully acceptable alternative to no more here from you. Ok, the ONLY acceptable alternative.. LOL
Either way, wish you happiness in whatever venture sparks your interest and picks you up after this "end".
Love it! Must read more!
Merlin! I can't take getting just one chapter a week like this! It's killing me. What do you mean you aren't planning to write any more fanfic? What am I going to do with myself? I dearly hope that if you get an enticing enough plot bunny you will continue. I've done nothing else but read your stories every single night for over 2 weeks straight.
Regarding this chapter: Severus knows that he hasn't done a single thing to make Hermione think he did anything but despise her company until Forest Haven. He knows she had to apply to that school in Salem months ago! He isn't being sensible! He must know that Hermione would be the kind of woman to continue her education. When would they have discussed it before now? I don't think he would have taken it much better if she had told him at any time in Forest Haven before the rejection letter came. He would have been just as insecure and angry that she had made plans to leave, even if she told him she didn't want to, now that they had started to have an understanding and had fallen in love, ...again. He knows she has had no memory of their wedding night all these months. Once they started their intimacy at Forest Haven, he didn't try to tell her about the fact that he knew they had fallen in love on their honeymoon. He kept that secret for what? Why would it be bad for her to remember she was in love with him? But keep it secret he did. And now he's being a girl! He's going to make her think he doesn't love her anymore and she's going to think he loves Septima Vector! I know it! He's going to try to force her to go now. I know you will make this better, but it I have a feeling there will be another bump or two before they settle.
You can't not write any more stories! I won't let you. I don't know how live journals operate. I tried to look but I'm late to the party and don't understand how it works. But there are exchanges that you do and write stories for other people. I can't write any stories so you have to. Please. I can't stand another week waiting for the next chapter. I'm going to lose my mind. I'm off to read some more of your other works. I've had a marvelous Rengency week that just ended tonight! Kisses!
I'm going to miss you when you stop writing. I loved all your stories. I really enjoyed this chapter. I'm glad Hagrid was able to give the scroll to Severus, and the fact that he's reading it, gives me hope. Hermione and Severus' future is already looking brighter just by this. I can't wait to see how he reacts to their story.
Good, he's reading it. :)
Beautiful! I love that she was able to use Hagrid to deliver her missive, and that he is reading it. I'm glad he didn't just toss it aside, assuming it was some kind of brush-off that he would rather not read.
He's really trapped by his own logic now. Well, that and the fact that Hermione usn't the only one who has to know it all.
Thankyou for this wonderful story and all the others you've written, I've read all of them, even if I haven't reviewed them all. You have an amazing talent! I started reading your stories quite a few years ago, I even have some of my favourites printed out!! I've really loved this one, I think it's one of my favourites, and I can't wait for the final chapter 😁 From a completely selfish point of view, please keep writing!
I am so glad Hagrid showed up at Forest Haven on this day of all days. Besides bringing the good news of it being time for all of them to return home, he also made it possible for Hermione to get her love letter cum apology to Severus without further delay.
I want to hug Severus and Hermione and tell them everything is going to be all right. I imagine each of them, at this moment, are feeling a swirl of emotions that range from fear and despair to hope for the future–as am I.
Again this week's song is perfect for the chapter. You have an uncanny ability to find the right song for the mood everytime, and I wouldn't think of reading each update without listening to the songs.
...and knowing that I have no plans to write more fanfic at this point (other than, in the future, to finish Owned), it feels like the looming end of something. This looming end you speak of makes my heart hurt, yet in the same breath I must shout to the heavens how fortunate I have been to have found your incredible stories in the first place. You have brought me more joy than I can say, and I am profoundly grateful for the gifts you have shared with all of us. I am very happy that you have plans to finish Owned, because I'm still wondering what will happen after Hermione returns from the loo at Spinners End.
*many, many hugs from your faithful servant*
Beth
I have to tell you, I LOVE this story, as I do all of yours. I think I've read every one. I hope you do keep writing fanfiction, and even if you don't, I want to tell you how many hours of pleasure these stories have given me over the years. When real life gets to be too much for me, I delve into this magic world with each story and it makes real life a little more bearable. Thank-you.
I enjoyed that. What was all that stuff with the book! Ooh, I'm sure I'll find out eventually. That was fun.
I'm lying here in bed, thinking how glad I am that tomorrow is Friday, when I realize that I haven't reviewed your story. Real life is nuts, and consequently, I've become shit at reviewing. By now you know that I love every minute of every story you write, so lets just leave it at that, shall we? Looking forward to the next installment!
There's a pit in my stomach about what is to come. Their heaven in the attic couldn't last forever. So hoping the next chapter is up soon. I want to know what Arthur will be coming back with. Your writing is so lyrical like waterfall flowing in a stream...just so beautiful. Thank you!
This chapter felt to me like the quiet before the storm. Hermione remembers, Snape makes plans, and Mr. Weasley is ensuring all hell breaks loose (at least Molly's rage might).
I'm eagerly awaiting more!
I keep forgetting to say how much I enjoy the artwork. I really enjoy the artwork. I also really enjoy the music and the links. I love KD Lang but spent most of the 90's being a busy mommy by day and childbirth educator by night, so I hadn't heard this song. I don't know where I was radio wise. I think I listened to kids music cassettes to keep the rug rats too dazed to fight or whine. I love it. Thanks.
