Poor Severus, letting her fall asleep, knowing that all that would be forgotten - I'm glad their present is catching up with their past!

I wonder what it must have been like for her that night - knowing that as soon as she fell asleep she would forget all about that part of their time together?

Things I'm liking so far: That their relationship is just as awkward and strained as it was six years ago; wondering what their agreement is; Severus watching her interact with Remus, his competitor for her hand; wondering what will happen as they're forced to share close quarters.

Well, I've managed to wait this long before starting reading, but I don't think I can wait any longer! Thank goodness there's such a lovely lot of chapters waiting for me :)

It seems their intimacy is building and I'm still unsure why Severus is so apprehensive about it. I'm excied to learn his reasoning as well as what exactly happened when they were attacked by Death Eaters, but I shall have to save it for another day. You've already kept me up long enough, dear Subversa, with your wonderful story telling. It is now midnight and I have to be at work in exactly seven hours. At ten I told myself "one more chapter" and again at eleven. Now I must go, but I can't wait to pick up this wonderful story again when I get home tomorrow afternoon. :)

I like that Hermione basically got to live her wedding night after all. And that Severus jumped from his chair to correct his wife when it occured to him her words; that he didn't want her. I imagine Severus as being that passionate and fiercely loyal to his bride, even if it was not the one he intended or even considered, once he became her husband. A wonderful picture of intimacy between them.

Hmm... Is Hermione just remembering the actual events of her wedding night? It seems more may have happened than just the "one off" description first given. Interesting thought. Let's see if it's correct... :)

I can't decide if this just really happened or not. I suppose that's exactly how Hermione will feel in the morning - unsure if it was all a dream or a real event. I like it. :) The writing style I mean; putting the reader in the same position as the character. I also like that we are only getting tidbits of what happened leading up to the wedding; the discussions, the attack... it is keeping me guessing, wondering, and always wanting more. Great work!!

E.Gads! I'm betting it is now Severus who could use some relief! Usually it is Severus that I am hoping will open up to Hermione, but in this fic I find myself hoping for the other way around. :)

WEll apparently Severus DID know what Hermione was up to. lol And I can completely see him reacting exactly as he did at the end of this chapter. That was totally 'Severus'. :)

About half-way through this chapter I started to wonder if maybe he was using Legilimency to plant her salacious thoughts into her head. I am not ready, yet, to rule that theory out. :)

oh my! Seems like it is Hermione is in quite a pickle. I can't help but wonder if Severus may have noticed Hermione's little activity this first night together in their bed... and what he may think of it?

I am very curious what the full extent of this agreement Hermione and Severus have is all about. If it is to be a dutiful wife, Hermione is right in the assumption that she is failing, but I can't say that I blame her. Severus isn't exaclty making things easy for her. I do wonder how they will get on in teh confines of their small bedroom with no distractions to ease the tension.

So it all was real. Nice. :) I'm wondering now what it is Severus is so concerned about? It's as if it is HIM that is planning on leaving and so doesn't want Hermione to get that close to him. Or maybe he simply figured when the war was well and truly over they would divorce and so he can't let himself get close to Hermione?? I dunno, but I'm enjoying the ride while I find out. :)

AWESOME job on the wedding night!!! *fans self* I feel badly for Severus -- when she asked for the antidote -- I got all misty-eyed for him. No wonder he's been kind of impatient with her non-wifely behaviour.

This was such a joy of a "morning after" chapter. I just adore how they're coming together. But I'm sure there MUST be more to deal with before we arrive at the conclusion of our tale. I'll attempt to be patient..... maybe. lol

I can't believe I was so cruel to forget to review when I read this the first time. Please forgive my lapse. But now, in a nutshell.... WOW!!! That was so wonderful! Just luscious and rich and leaving me wanting more. I'm tied up in knots thinking of being either one of them. So many lines of the web they're caught in being tugged. You're just so amazing as a writer. You always make me happily want to know what's next!!
