What is the greatest sacrifice one can give? This tale begins in Severus' sixth year at Hogwarts, during the surge of new young followers of the Dark Lord; Nagini Malfoy, the main female character, is actually a precursor to Nagini, Voldemort's serpent. Alternate Universe: Lucius, Lestrange, Mulciber, Crabbe, Goyle, Rodoplus and Bellatrix are younger – in their seventh year; Narcissa and Nagini in their sixth. It was painful to watch Lily and James together from Snape's point of view. I'm very much wondering where he will go from here. Is it time for him to give up on her or will he try again?It feels as if poor Nagini is doomed to be under the control of some dominant, authoritarian despotic male or other wherever she turns. I hope they all get their due one of these days. I bet Marcus Belby's Sorting could have gone either way.If you ask me, Severus is the only decent one among them, and I definitely think he and Nagini should cut their losses and find solace in each others arms (pretty please :))!!Anyway, Nag, wonderful chapter with some top notch dialogue.

As we all know, besides his possessiveness, Sev can be incredibly 'stubborn', regardless of the pain he is feeling...Once she gets settled a bit, Nag will try to rise above and away from them all... Belby - absolutely agree with the Sorting, dangerous & intelligent, but he didn't want to be in the same House as Lulu; can't blame the pompous prat - gah!Severus is the only decent one among them, besides Xeno; however, Sev will have his faults as well, or rather, his own particular Slytherin traits will be shown soon. So, Sev & Nag have your blessings to cut their losses and find solace in each other? *squee!!!* Thank you! I agree, it's about time;-) Hexgirl, thank you so much for your continued support, and for your friendship!

Sev has faults???? OH! you mean the fault of being too damn sexy for his own good? YEP! gotta agree with you there hehe! I'm sure Nag can take his mind off Lily ;)
