Seven years after the final battle: Severus is neither here nor there - and is apparently unwanted, dead or alive, until a small black kitten pins his cloak to a cobblestone. Hermione learns that now and then life rests on the flip of a friendly coin. Does love have the power to cancel time? Only the cats know for sure, and they can't talk.

Well, I hope that whatever it is... it will work! (?) Always such a mysterious read with you. Glad you're back, btw.
I like this story. It's...well, I'm having trouble putting it into words. There is a lot of subtle emotion in it and I enjoy that immensely. Nobody is really sure how they feel except maybe the cat.
This is my current favourite story and I am intrigued to find out what happens next.Is there any chance of Severus being returned to us as a corporeal being? I'm sure Mimi would think so and I hope so too.More please.....after all, it's been at least 8 days since the last update and a birthday has passed [mine]. Surely I "deserve" an update LOLSuper tale, love it.

Oh gosh...so hope you feel better quickly and not just for selfish story wanting reasons...well, those too, but you know....Get well vibes and wishes being sent to you.C xx
Another lovely chapter. I loved that she got him to talk without him being caustic. Hoping all this works. Twould be a tragedy if it didn't. And Hermione would never be the same.
Interesting and well written.
That was wonderful. And only one ant in an peony?
I love that cat and the way Snape talks to it. :)
Hermione would no doubt be the first to tell you that there is no way Nero could have been "fiddling" as Rome burned, as the violin had not yet been invented. If he was playing any stringed instrument, it would have been a Lyre. Also, the above comment is in no way intended as a criticism, as I am very much enjoying the story. More, please!

*laughs* You're quite right about that. Was enraptured by old wives' tales when writing this, apparently. :)Glad you're enjoying the story! Thank you for your review!
Another fascinating chapter. The URST is so thick... I love it.
I'd say Emperor Nero and one Tom Riddle seem to have rather a lot in common. Though I'd rather not visit Hell to eavesdrop on that particular conversation.
The "Wine of Kindness" seems a rather appropriate potion for Severus, as he received so little of it when he was fully alive. Only makes sense that he would require it to have a second chance at life, especially considering what he went through at the hands of the wizarding world's answer to Nero.
I have my fingers crossed for Hermione and Severus both.
That was perfect for the story, it fit.
that was a great chapter... sorta sad, but great.

Poor Ron... I think. But even poorer Severus...
awwww..... well, like you say, that was necessary, and for once, Severus handled that really well, I thought!
Yeah, definitely necessary. And Ron's grown up. He took it very well. Glad he did.
Ron either has very good or very bad timing, depending on how you look at it! I imagine if Ron knew what he had interrupted, he'd think it was excellent timing, but...ack! Still, I loved when the cereal spelled out “Kil?” I'm sure Mimi firmly believes that she could take on a dragon and win.
Eagerly awaiting the next chapter and the next coin toss!
Ah, so much wonderful stuff this chapter contains. It was imperative that she leave Ron behind, so Severus can leave his "inbetween" world behind as well.
And he finally called her Doctor Granger. I just hope she heard him, but I have a feeling that she didn't. Oh well, maybe next time, a little louder?
My God your writing is so complex that I sometimes feel like I'm stupid for not understanding everything but thankfully I didn't have problems with this chapter. Brilliant as always! I have read all of your stories but I don't review much. I'll try to in the future. Great job! :)
Ron took that rather well, all things considered. :)
This chapter kind of struck me as from out of nowhere. I was so busy trying to figure out what's the story with Severus and what can be done to help him that I totally forgot about Ron and Harry and everyone else.
Oh, oh, oh. What a mood killer. But I like how you wrapped it up nicely.
You weave these words so prettily, like your namesake... I very much approve, and eagerly await more :D
Wow! This story has captivated me! I started it yesterday and sadly life made me wait until today to finish what you have so far. So many ways this could go - I'm anxious to see where you take us on this adventure!
Thanks for writing this - its brilliant :)
I love this story! I've been reading it for a while now and am absolutely sucked in. I love Mimi, I love the way you describe things and I love the way you made Snape find out about the amortentia. Thanks for another wonderful chapter, I'll be waiting for the next!
Lovely chapter, and I adored how he figured out the Amortentia pointed to him.
