Seven years after the final battle: Severus is neither here nor there - and is apparently unwanted, dead or alive, until a small black kitten pins his cloak to a cobblestone. Hermione learns that now and then life rests on the flip of a friendly coin. Does love have the power to cancel time? Only the cats know for sure, and they can't talk.

"ifloo"? *snort*
I love your creativity and I love the way past Severus and Hermione are communicating now. Keep up the good work!
I like the notes almost as much as the story. Especially all the mythology stuff which a love but haven't read in a long time so have forgotten much of it.
Very funny story.

So Severus has found some reason for the wish to be alive... that's good! :o)
*sighs contendedly*
“Told thee.”This had me laughing for a good bit. Kraken indeed!
This chapter was a bit hard to follow, but interesting nonetheless. See you next chappie!
Clever! I am enjoying this!
Oh, more... more please... this is soooo wonderful, I desperately need to turn the page...
Hmm, well, despite his negativity, I still have hope.
I can only imagine how much research went into this chapter ... wow! And I agree with snapefan2007: the catz-language is just sooo fun.
What exactly was the point of Demetrius re-enacting the battle? I enjoyed it but did it hold any significance for the plot or was it just for fun?
Thanks for another great chapter!
Is he really drinking the brandy? Or is it just his imagination? :)
Good chapter, I liked Hermione's reminiscing.
this story is sorta strange... I LOVE it... I love all the lol catz language... i get a kick out of it... can't wait to read more!
Oh, an update! ~jumps in glee~
I love your inventive madness.
Furry foot nudges alphabet cereal pieces on smudged wooden table top.
WHEREZ U? IZ MIS TURIF STOREE. PLEZ RIT MOR SUON.
"Get your unsanitary arse off of my breakfast table!" a deep (human) voice roars.
Cat runs for its dear life, but pauses at corner, tail swishing, to watch for reply to its plea...
Lolcat cereal -- want! Oh, and an invisible Severus in my bedroom too, please.
Well, that was unexpected. A trip to the Shrieking Shack... now that would have been expected. But first year? You've got me intrigued.
I'm glad he's not going to continue with his death for the moment. LOL
hmmm... so, Harry knows where Snape is, perhaps? Interesting little clue there. I am so glad he's decided to stay, and stay alive for now. And she felt it in her elbows, hmm? I'll have to be more aware of my own from now on.
I'm really enjoying this story.
I love your summary of cubism.
oh, oh, ohhhhh. Too short. Well, I'm eager anyway. Interesting!

Great, a step towards better communication. Communication always helps. A lot. Just have to find the proper way to do it... but Hermione seems to be on the right path. Good gal!
BTW: what about the not so cute and no longer wee cats without a home? The ill ones? The ugly ones nobody else wants? I absolutely am with you with your request, but it's a fact that it's usually only the wee, pretty, kitty ones that inspire the wish to do something about the problem... no criticism meant, just wanted to point that out *continues scratching the favourite spots of two former unwanted/ill kitties* ;o)
Author's Response: I didn't mean to differentiate between healthy and ill kitties - they're all loves, really. *scritches your kitties* My not-so-wee lass was abandoned and is positive for FIV, and she's a joy.
And thank you for all your kind reviews...
*waves*

Seems Severus has counted too much on events that could have gone askew, as they did. Didn't it ever occur to him that Hermione perhaps wouldn't get is clues due to some circumstances? *scratches head*

Uh-oh, what a blunder, having sent the wrong memo... tsk tsk, where's your head, Hermione? ;o)
I'm improving my English with all kinds of interesting vocabulary, by the way. Thanks! ;o)

The Mimi-speak is cute. And the riddle of what Snape really is get's clearer. Demetrios' explanation sounds very close, but still... *remains unconvinced* ;o)

Impressive update frequency! :o)
Very clever, this bubble thing! And now she finally has understood... good!
