I like that Severus showed real emotions at what he has gone through in his home.  Not every one has a beatiful home some are a little run down but it does not mean it's not a home.  I hope he lets Hermione clean it.  Can't wait for the next update.Sevibaby

That's just not playing fair to leave this here!  Having just recently seen HBP (for the second time!), your description of Spinners End seems spot-on - dark, dingy and full of bad memories would be about right, I'm guessing.Still, it was perphaps fortunate that they went back to his place rather than hers; it is giving Hermione a good insight into Severus the man and why he is the way he is.  Even though she has known him and worked with him for so long, she is no doubt unaware of all his past and the terrible childhood he must have had.  He really does need someone who can fully understand him. Simply can't wait for the next update now!  I imagine they probably won't care whether Severus' bedroom has been cleaned recently or not!!  :-)

that is a slight down side to finding one's soul mate.  but i suspect it won't be that much of a hardship!  thanks muchly for the wonderful update

Well this was certainly a different and unexpected twist!  Who would have ever guessed Minerva's little secret, eh?! (Plus, having a niece who's a hooker; well that's definitely one for the books!)

And that sounds like the best excuse for sex I've ever heard ... must write to Mr. Rickman and remind him he's my 'soul mate'!! ;-)  Look forward to seeing where this is going now! (BTW: Whatever you were on when you wrote this - please can I have some?!) :-)

If separation for such a short time causes that much of a problem, maybe living together would be the perfect solution for them.  :D
