Okay,  I will forgive you for the wait.  These two chapters were well worth it.  Whew,  cooling myself off.  These chapters were very HOT.  Can't wait though for the next one.  So hurry up and finish, post do what ever.  Just kidding.

Thank you for not being mean and giving us two chapters! I loved the rhythm internal thoughts and spoken dialogue. Now I'm going to go back and re-read both chapters. :-)

Oh wow!! *squirms* That was just incredibly intense! I love everything about these last two chapters: their need, their approach, their passion... I adored Severus in the leading role. What a beautiful love scene! I would write more but I feel compelled to go back and re-read these two chapters ... NOW. Yay!! *smooches-and-thanks*

sometimes i feel like i've read so many hermione-and-severus-finally-do-it scenes that i can't possibly read another that sounds and feels both original and real.  then i go and read these last two chapters and am proved completely and utterly wrong.  and i am very happy to stand corrected.  this story is lovely.

Having plunged now thru both these chapters, and read your tantalizing peek into the next, I'm beginning to be quite worried about the potential "information leak" that is Jill.  I suppose Hermione MUST act like a teenage girl in some ways, because she IS a teenage girl, not a mature woman (though she's far more precocious than her peers, but still, not a mature 25-year-old), and I am beginning to have twinges of uneasiness over her sharing info with her muggle friend, and how that might impact Severus' safety, her own, and their future.And, as someone above mentioned, there is the whole question of their "future", which both seem to have compartmentalized for the moment to a back room of their minds---where is this going?  What are their plans?  You mentioned Severus had a plan "A" and "B" for her "safety"--but I'm sure Hermione's embryonic "plans" are for them to be "together" somehow in some future that includes them BOTH, and I'm not sure Severus (in fact, I'm actually pretty sure he DOESN'T) gives them sod-all chance of any future "together" at all.So, as I said in my review last chapter, I humbly ask (greedy thing that I am) for the next update, and petition (happy-endings-junkie that I am) for one know-it-all and one Death-Eater Potions-Master to find a happily-ever-after together---somehow, in spite of fates and prophecies and evil Dark Lords and pasts and social mores and everything else.  She loves him, dammit...and I believe (though he's never said it, I don't think, even to himself, much less to her) that he loves her as well.

I suspect you will not get as many reviews for this chapter as many, like myself, will rush on to the next without even marking this one "read".  As I've already been over 'there', I came by here again just to say, "Bravo!", to humbly ask (greedy thing that I am) for the next update, and petition (happy-endings-junkie that I am) for one know-it-all and one Death-Eater Potions-Master to find a happily-ever-after together.Brava!

I got a 'heads up' the you would post today...so I woke up just to read your updates. If that is not a compliment, I don't know what is!! Loved the backstory of Lupin's creation of the map I have to say that the careful, selfless preparations for this first time together say a lot about your Severus and Hermione, but mostly about Severus.  The evil Death Eater spends time making everything just so. Lovely.Oh, and who the hell does not like it when Severus talks like that???Offers for baked goods still stand.

Leaving this update at one chapter would have resulted in murder :D *does fangirl squeal dance* Reading WIP's is going to kill me one day. Love this story! So much! Please keep writing!

Well I'm just stunned.  I was hoping beyond hope that he wouldn't do what he did, though it was not unexpected.  Brilliant character development and integration with HBP. Excellent storytelling. I am completely distraught and am definitely going to have to go find something to read with a happy ending!  Possibly what you intended.  In any case, I will be waiting and watching for the sequel. I will be holding you to your promise to others for a happy ending.
