Two girls. Two Houses. One obsession.
In their final year at Hogwarts, two very different girls face their own battle with the continuing rise of the Dark Lord, encountering along the way shattered friendships, broken hearts, a charming blond Death Eater with a twisted plan, and a secret that could rock the foundations of the Wizarding world. Once more, the stern Potions master will have to do the impossible and offer his protection. Will he succeed?
Set during Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix and mostly canon compliant.

A Slytherin (morgaine_dulac) and a Ravenclaw (star_girl) met through a mutual love of the brooding Potions master. They discovered they enjoyed writing seperately, but thought joining forces could be even more fun. Are they bat-shit-crazy? Well, you'll have to wait and see...

Reviews for Star Sisters
Poor guy. I bet his first class of the next day was awful. Wonder how many points he removed from Neville for breathing?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
All of them we reckon
That was a close call. It was a lucky thing that the bracelet Morgana was wearing fell from her arm, or else she may have succumbed to Lucius' seduction of her.Poor Snape, had to watch the whole thing, and other than protecting his student, he got nothing for his effort but an unsatisfied erection. For herself, Morgana got to kiss her Head of House, to feel his arousal, and then left alone in the corridor. And all our dear Lucius got was a busted plan, no nookie, and no memory of the foreplay he'd shared with Morgana. I'd say that was just about right.Good chapter, girls! Beth

Lucius thinks he has had the shag of the century. Maybe he'll get it soon?
And the button's on Snape's robes are going to ping off soon from the strain...
Maybe he will get some soon as well?
I guess Dumbledore's Army coins also use the same kind of "tracer charm", but of course Snape wouldn't know about those. Nice chapter. You depict Snape's mood extremely well. I'll wait for the next update. I can imagine there will be some ACTION in it.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Next chapter will be deLucius! Stay tuned!
While I love this story, I have the feeling that things are going to get worse for the girls. As for poor Snape... We already know what canon has planned for him, I hope you'll be a little kinder.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
They're all in for some good old heartache. And Snape will need a chance to get rid of all that, erm, tension. We are thrilled you love our story! Stay tuned for the next chapter.
Lucius Malfoy is evil incarnate, second only to Voldemort himself. I'm afraid that Severus and Dumbledore have their work cut out for them, but Severus has the more difficult job. How on earth can he protect Harry, spy for the Order, and now protect Morgana from Lucius?I hope that Dumbledore's fears do not come to pass, that this added responsibility for Morgana will not "push the man to the breaking point." But both Dumbledore and Severus realize that there is no one else that could do it. What a mess.Somehow Lucius is still able to get inside Morgana's mind and direct her thoughts. But if the ring is truly merely a trinket, then perhaps there was a "drug" of some kind in the Tiffin. Then again, Charis still has doubts that the ring is just a trinket. You ladies have created a very interesting plot with very interesting characters, and I take my hat off to you. I'm enjoying this immensely!Beth

We love Snape. And although we are putting him to a lot of hardship, we promise to be nice to him in the end. That doesn't go for Lucius though. And we say thank you, of course, for your kind words, and hope you will continue to enjoy it :)
is Lucius purely evil or just barking mad? :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
A little form column A, a little from column B ... but devastatingly charming, too.Stay tuned, more is coming!S&M
Morgana is getting herself into a potentially dangerous situation. How is Severus going to help her and not get himself into trouble>Great chapter, ladies!Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Potentially dangerous? Such an understatement ;-)Good thing dear Severus is skilled at walking a dangerous tightrope. Thanks for the praise and the shiny stars.S&M
Poor Charis, Snape will never let her live that down. Does Lucius know of the girls' relationship? Might he use Charis to force Morgana?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
The good man has other tricks up his Egyptian-cottoned sleeve. Stay tuned and you will see.S&M
I can hardly imagine Snape longing for a bath, but I guess that makes him a little bit less disgusting. Poor girls. They were looking for power and now they couldn't be more vulnerable. Well written.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Snape? Disgusting? HEY!!Poor man's so busy, he hardly has time for such frivolities as personal hygiene. Thanks for the praise. Stay tuned for more.S&M
Aha, so it WAS the chocolates!
So, does evil reincarnation render one sterile, or a eunuch? Ok no more speculating on Voldemort's sex life...ew...
Interesting plan Lucius has here. Does the Dark Lord know of them yet? I don't think that he appreciates surprises, so this might come back to bite Malfoy in the arse...which I certainly would look forward to seeing lol.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Lucius and his delicious behind ... wouldn't we all want a bite ...Cheers. S&M

Lucius and his delicious behind ... wouldn't we all want a bite ...Glad you're still enjoying this. Stay tuned.S&M
Nice. So, Lucius is up to a little bit more than I expected. The play between Severus and Charis is quite wonderful. Sigh. It's interesting to see Narcissa's "unaware" state of the whole thing. I wonder if she knows her husband's plans... Intriguingly wicked chapter!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
You haven't seen wicked yet.Keep your eyes on Lucius. Actually, you won't be able to take your eyes OFF him later!Glad you're still with us!S&M
The ring came with a case, didn't it? Nobody checked the case. Is that it?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
5 points to your house for your logical thinking. Unfortunately 6 points will be deducted for barking completely up the wrong tree Seriously, all we can say is wait and see.
whoa...if it wasn't the ring, then how?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
That's what Snape's wondering, too ... Stay tuned and you will find out. We're saying nothing *whistle*S&M
Maybe there was something in the chocolates in the last chapter...what a sad backstory for Morgana, poor thing. I understand her need for power now a little better, but what, ultimately, does she want from Lucius?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Do you blame the chocolate?? hehe
"A feeling that told her that by the end of this afternoon, her life would look completely different." <---understatement of the year. Batshit crazy, indeed.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
By the time you get to chapter 10 you will realise that we are totally bat-shit crazy too! ;-)S&M
I can NOT believe you went there! not a fan of perv!snape, even in the name of power games, and even though she is of age. I can't say I wasn't warned before reading, though, and I will continue to read because I need to see how and if this gets resolved.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
We kind of like Perv!Snape but only when he redeems himself after and becomes sexybitch!Snape*whistle innocently*S/M
Response from kallonista (Reviewer)
okay, fair enough =P
My, Morgana is brave! I agree with Snape though, it is sad that one so young is so jaded concerning love. I wonder why, and what (if) Lucius Malfoy had to do with it.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
We recommend to keep an eye on Lucius. That snake has planty of tricks up his sleeve.S&M
"They might even have thought that their scheming had gone unnoticed. But Severus Snape never missed a thing."<---who did they think they were fooling lol? Interesting start, I look forward to what follows.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Yeah, stupid girls! hehe Nothing gets past his abnormally large nose :-)S&M
Very nicely written!! Your Snape is very much in character, and the whole Death Eaters scene quite credible. I'd just wonder: Where is Narcissa when all this is going on at her place?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Narcissa's aunt has a tendency to be "ill" a lot during this story. Needs to be taken care of, the dear woman. Thanks for you praise.S&M
So how much will Snape reveal to Dumbledore? I can't imagine that Dumbledore will be happy.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
The Slytherin will keep quiet and the old puppet master will start pulling strings, as usual ;)
Sneaky Lucius needs a good smack! :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
That's not all he needs ;)
Oh, I like this, terrible as the events were. Very intriguing. Poor Morgana. I think it sucks either way, to be Muggleborn or pure-blood. Oh my. I hope Lucius gets what's coming to him. Lovely work!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
He'll come alright! Lucius will be getting ... stuff ;)
I have to be honest and explain that I actually found this chapter rather hard to read: I suffered from severe post-natal psychosis after my eldest son was born (nearly 22 years ago now) - the symptoms of which were almost identical to those you describe Morgana as having, i.e. voices in the head, mind possession etc. So much so in fact that, at the time, a rather fanatical and zealous group of so-called 'Christians' were convinced that I was possessed by the devil and consequently 'exorcised' me - an experience that greatly traumatised me and still haunts and gives me nightmares to this day. (I hope you don't mind me explaining/sharing this here :-) )My point being (and reason for explaining all this) is that it proves your skills as writers to be able to describe Morgana's experience in such detail and depth. The quality of your writing is amazing. In my case, I really could have done with the dear Professor being around as my Knight in Shining Armour; I suddenly see him becoming the 'hero' of the piece again (or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my behalf!)Either way, this is turning into a very powerful, deep and intiguing story. Keep up the good work - well done! :-)

, we hope that we did not open up old wounds. We're glad you are sticking with our story, even though in places it will not be the most easy story to read. It is getting darker, but we can promise that the Knight in Shining Black Armour will always be around.S&M
Response from Sevvy (Reviewer)
I'm so glad to hear about that last part! Please don't think I told you of my past experience to make you feel bad or gain sympathy etc. (it's my choice to read your work - I don't have to!) I merely wanted to explain how descriptively you write - without knowing it, you described the event of Malfoy taking over Morgana's mind so well that it really made it believable.I have known from the beginning that this story was always going to be 'dark' but, as I think I may have said to you once before, in order to reach the light we sometimes do have to experience the dark. As you know, I am a fan of you lovely ladies both as individual writers and in your new joint venture of a writing partnership. As often happens when you follow someone's work, you don't necessarily love everything they do (take AR's stuff, for example) but I shall stick with you girls through thick and thin because I feel sure that ultimately the journey will be worth it! :-)

,This must be one of the biggest compliments one can get, really. And we thank you for it.And even if there are parts you do not like, we hope there is enough in there that you do like which will balance it out./The Star Sisters
Great story. Both of these girls need to stay away from Snape, but that would mess up the story.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
That would totally sabotage the plot ;-) And that would be no fun for anyone ;-)Cheers. /S&M
