Two girls. Two Houses. One obsession.
In their final year at Hogwarts, two very different girls face their own battle with the continuing rise of the Dark Lord, encountering along the way shattered friendships, broken hearts, a charming blond Death Eater with a twisted plan, and a secret that could rock the foundations of the Wizarding world. Once more, the stern Potions master will have to do the impossible and offer his protection. Will he succeed?
Set during Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix and mostly canon compliant.

A Slytherin (morgaine_dulac) and a Ravenclaw (star_girl) met through a mutual love of the brooding Potions master. They discovered they enjoyed writing seperately, but thought joining forces could be even more fun. Are they bat-shit-crazy? Well, you'll have to wait and see...

Reviews for Star Sisters
My heart is breaking for Morgana. Having Severus witness her seduction at the hands and lips of Lucius Malfoy was humiliating. But after the Potions master had departed Malfoy Manor and Lucius had begun his seduction in earnest, she felt herself fall under his spell once more. It makes me wonder if poor Morgana stands a chance. And now Severus will have to live with the images in his mind of Lucius making slow and deliciously evil love to a student. His student. One of his Slytherins. How will this night end? How will Morgana react when she returns to Hogwarts tomorrow morning. How will she resume her life as if nothing has happened, knowing that she is carrying the Dark Lord's heir and will, within three months time, abort that same child.Such a dark and sinister chapter you have here. And very well written!Beth

Now what exactly is wrong with slow and deliciously evil lovemaking? hehe.
Wow. Severus let out some frustration there. I'm only worried he amalgamated his objects of desire, which can only end badly for the girls.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Or goodly, depending on your viewpoint :)
Wish they'd have a threesome and get it over with LOL :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Your wish. Our command.
Ooops! It finally happened! Neither all of Dumbledore's Army nor all Hogwarts' elfves will be able to put the shattered pieces together again. I know Charis enjoyed it, but she deserved better than being taken over a cold library table and then be left on her own once she had been used. I guess she'll feel dirty in the aftermath. As for Snape...well, he had taken too much himself, but he ended up as an abuser, and he’s already regretting it. The trouble is that just as well, now that he’s trespassed the lines this might turn into an addiction…

We fear you may be rght on all counts, Crystal. Stay tuned to find out!
That "good idea" shortcut to Madam Puddifoot’s through Spattergroit Alley quickly turned into the "idea from hell." I'm glad that Morgana was wearing her charmed necklace. I hate to think what might have happened to Charis and Jack if she hadn't arrived when she did, but even then it was a near miss... if Severus and Dumbledore hadn't arrived when they did, Morgana would still have been whisked away to Malfoy Manor by Lucius, but Charis and Jack would likely have been tortured to death for the Dark Lord's amusement.
It was fascinating to watch as Dumbledore put his own plan to work. Just as Lucius had tricked and lied to Morgana to get her to willingly give herself to him, so had Dumbledore lied to her to get her to willingly agree to his plan. And now that she has taken the potion that will insure that she will conceive Lucius's child on Valentine's night, there is no going back — the die is cast.
The similarity of the relationship between Morgana and Charis to Severus's relationship to Lily was not lost on the Potions Master.
"He knew this behaviour all too well himself. Many years ago, when he had commenced his own descent into the Darkness, he had had a friend who could have held him back and saved him. But instead of letting her, he had pushed her away. And he had stumbled, fallen, and then the world around him had turned black. And he desperately hoped that Morgana would reach out for her friend in time." I hope she will, too.
This was a fabulous chapter filled with possibilities! Well done.Beth

Poor Snape! Well, he's still got Charis, doesn' he? Naaah. He won't dare...or will he?Great chapter. I love your writing style.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Snape would NEVER touch a student. And Lucius and Morgana are just having dinner. Ehm ...All we are saying is, you won't want to miss the next two chapters!
Nothing like Valentine's Day to make everything spicier. Sigh. I wonder how Severus is spending the night. : )
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
He'll be .... ehm, relieving tension ... ehm, ehm
Wonder who'll cross his path? Hmm.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Would you like to place a bet?Ten galleons says you'll need a cigarette after reading the next chapter ... another ten says you will read it more than once :P
I think I like Jack. His innocence is refreshing. Even though we all appreciate the dangerous sex appeal of Severus and Lucius.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
We love Jack. He's one of the good guys, and those need to be shown as well. It's quite funny, actually. In the start, Jack was an insignificant side kick. But he has grown on us and now he gets all the good lines :)
Response from freeluciusnow21 (Reviewer)
I'm glad. Looking forward to seeing more of him. : )
Dumbledore really is a cold, master manipulator. :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Puppet master par excellence...
and devious old sod to boot!
Poor Morgana! Now she isn't only a pawn of "the dark side", but of the Order as well. Isn't she resembling Snape? Will this be something that will bind them together? On the other hand, what if she decides she'll keep the child; not to give it to Voldemort, of course, but to herself? Then there is Charis. Wouldn't she help her to escape from both sides?
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
To quote from chapter 1:
The two girls and the friendship they shared reminded Snape so much of what he had once had. Morgana with her calculating mind and her cold attitude reminded him of the boy he had once been: so eager to find a place to belong, so afraid to get hurt. And Charis, she was like Lily: smart, kind, loyal. She even had the same green eyes.
The question was: would Morgana push her friend away when she needed her the most, just as he had done all those years ago? And would Charis let Morgana fall on the very same day, just as Lily had done with him?
I'm not sure who is more confused: Snape, Morgana, or Charis! :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
It's one big mess and getting worse! Stay tuned.
That was really silly from Snape, wasn't it? Blame it on the firewhiskey! On the other hand, hasn't anyone told Charis there are good reasons not to go "all the way" on a first date? Now Morgana has lost all confidence in her friend and is set up for something foolish. The irony is that, as far as I can remember, both girls craved for power at the beginning. They have achieved the opposite in the end.I loved the conversation between Snape and Dumbledore. Snape is such a prude, and then he loses control so easily!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Snape is not used to women throwing themselves at him. You can't blame the guy for craving a little affection. And both of the girls are young and naive. And when you play with fire, you'll get burnt.Stay tuned for more.
Response from Crystal Quill (Reviewer)
Yes, I know, but then he'll be banging his head against the wall, feeling guilty again because he didn't take care of Morgana while he was with Charis. The man doesn't learn, does he? And he still has the nerve to scold hormone ridden teenagers!!!By the way, I wonder if in the confusion Blaise remembered to claim Charis' knickers.
Oh! Good God! And here I was all worried about Charis and Zabini, and what happens? Snape dances with Morgana (I didn't even think she was even going to the party) and is grinding hips with her while he's kissing her... and now he has run Zabini back to Hogwarts, and has Charis in his arms... and Morgana saw them! But she did not hang around long enough to find out what Severus meant by his comment about 'a real man’s touch?’ And now she has gone to Malfoy Manor. You just have to update soon before I go crazy imagining what Severus and Charis are doing AND Morgana and Lucius. Arrrggghhh! You ladies really know how to write a great story and keep this reader on her toes! If I've learned one thing from reading this story, it is take nothing for granted!Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
There are surprises around every corner (as well as a healthy dose of smut) ;)
Oh my! What a great chapter. I couldn't help screaming "No Morgana!" at the end! I wonder what Severus and Charis are up to...
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Didn't we all just want to scream that?
Well, except for Lucius. He might want to scream: "Yes, Morgana, yes" soon...Is that bedsprings I hear? LOL
Poor Charis! I wonder if anyone will come to her rescue. I guess she wouldn't be grateful. Very nicely written.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Stay tuned and you'll see.
Thanks for reviewing :)
Uh oh. Charis is courting disaster but has convinced herself that Blaise is sincere in his attentions toward her. I hope she doesn't actually do anything that she will live to regret.Surely the ever vigilant Head of Slytherin House will have caught wind of Zabini's plan and be on the lookout to protect the Ravenclaw before she can be made to look and feel like a fool. Or not. but in as much as Severus still cannot sort out with himself whether "he really wanted them to turn away from him." He still feels an attraction to both of the young women. I'm just guessing, but I think he is captivated by the knowledge that Morgana is attracted to him and feels lust for her. He has witnessed her sexual behavior on two occasions – once with Bellatrix and once with Lucius, and was turned on by the display. And Morgana is a beautiful young woman. But I think he not only feels lust for Charis, I think he is drawn to her for herself, the person she is. I think he finds her Ravenclaw attributes as attractive as her beauty and the fact that she loves him for himself.Perhaps Morgana will speak to her Head of House (and heart throb) and tell him that she is worried about Charis. The two friends are being pitted against each other by forces from all sides. It'll be interesting to see how the New Year's party and its aftermath play out.
Well done!
Beth

The New Year brings surprises and heartaches for everyone. And their lives would be so much easier if they would actually talk together.
So thrilled you are enjoying this.
I think Blaise is in for a surprise! :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Quite a few people will be stunned by the time the New Year starts.Stay tuned :-)
Oh the intrigue... Blaise better watch out because I think Charis can take him! Curious about any possible gifts Morgana received from Lucius for Christmas! I think this story just keeps getting better! Keep up the good work.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
1. Thank you so much for your praise. We are enjoying ourselves immensely.2. Never mind Christmas, wait for the New Years party.3. Stay tuned.S&M
What a right mess. I'm trying to figure out if Snape is more drawn to Charis or to Morgana... or perhaps he is drawn to them both. I feel sorry for Charis. Draco's little "art project" has let it be known to all and sundry that Charis is in love with the Potions master, and he has told her that nothing will come of her feelings for him. But I can't help but wonder if that's entirely true. He seems to have a tender spot in his heart for her, and perhaps under different circumstances he would allow himself to care for her.Morgana is also drawn to Severus, has even kissed him and felt his arousal. So what are we to make of this relationship? Was he just responding to the scene he had witnessed when Lucius tried to seduce her? Or does Severus have some feeling for her as well?Poor Severus is castigating himself for having allowed anything to take place between him and either of the girls, but he can't quite seem to stop thinking about them. Had he made such an awful blunder with Charis' detention that it had the opposite effect and cemented her in his mind and him in hers? And Lucius, who accomplished nothing he set out to do, believes that he may have planted his seed in Morgana is is blissfully dreaming the night away in glorious, if deluded, memories of having "had had the best shag of his life that afternoon." When he finds out what really happened, he is going to be so pissed! And that will be a hoot to see.Another wonderful chapter!Beth
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
"Mess" does not even start to describe it. Attraction is a dangerous feeling. Both girls hold things Snape finds himself drawn to. One reminds him of Lily, the other of himself. And he does not want the same thing happening to their friendship as it did to his and Lily's. And at the same time, his usually precise composure is slipping. And he hates himself for it.As for Lucius... things will get more interesting as far as he is concerned...Thank you for yet another wonderful review. We appreciate it very much!
I'm beginning to like your Snape. That was a nice chapter. I'm shuddering at the thought of where all this might lead us.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Muaha, be afraid. Be very afraid!
Only Lucius could be so arrogant... Poor Severus. He's so confused. Lovely chapter.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
If Lucius were any less arrogant, no one would like him
*We* sure wouldn't, hehe.
Arrogance is one of his better traits!
Dream on, Lucius, dream on! :)
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
He has such nice dreams ...
and he does look so innocent as he sleeps...
Now I agree you're being cruel with poor old Snape! How long can he stand being teased like that?? Fortunately he's got a strong will power. As for Malfoy, now he's been obliviated we're back tp square one, as I wrote earlier.I enjoyed your chapter.
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Snape and Dumbledore have a plan. Trust them.Sigh, Snape's trouser buttons are taking some severe punishment. He may have to go to Madam Malkin's for more if he, er, keeps it up ;-)
Lucius is one evil man, but he does know what he's doing. I'm glad Severus came to the rescue!
Response from sevs_starsisters (Author of Star Sisters)
Evil but oh so delicious! And Sir Snape does look good in his shiny armour.
