Yes, I agree that Hermione and Severus need a whole load of children! LOL You've got a real knack for capturing a sort of domestic peace, full of pining. It's really moving.

Yay! Good for Harry and Ginny for making sure that Hermione got back to Hogwarts in time to ring in the New Year with Severus.Hermione is a natural with Lily, and I'm certain that she would be a great mother in her own right... hint, hint. Another marvelous chapter Now I wonder what will happen next at the venerable old castle?

Yay! for Severus! His natural reticence at showing his feelings was difficult for him to overcome, but his feelings for Hermione were stronger. Their gifts for each other were chosen with great care and understanding, and I just wanted to cheer when Severus took her hand "that was resting over the pendant and brought it to his mouth carefully, pressing his warm, thin lips in a meaningful kiss over her knuckles."*Sigh* And now they are sitting before all the company gathered a Grimmauld Place, holding hands as if to announce their feelings for one another to all and sundry.Brilliant chapter, brandy! Now get them back to Hogwarts where they and have a little privacy and get on with this slowly building romance! I love it and you!Beth
