Poor Hermione.  Even though Molly has treated her horribly, she still feels bad that the relationship seems to be over.  Guess there's just some things you can't help.Off to read the next chapter.  =)

Megan Cabot is a treasure, and she will make a wonderful addition to the Snape family.  I'm so happy that she was able to tell Severus about what she over heard... apparently Rita Skeeter has been up to her old tricks again and is ripe for a fall.I wonder just what kind of trap the Headmaster will set for the Animagus cum reporter.  And I can't imagine what cliff Molly's mind has fallen over that would have made her tell her decidedly warped version of the story to Skeeter after all the problems the reporter has caused in the past.This was a great update, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how all this plays out!Beth

Great Chappie! I thought half way through when Megan ran and held Hermione's hand that 'maybe' they would adopt her.

I'm so glad Severus is seriously considering adopting little Megan. And I'm soooo delighted that he is going to kick Skeeter's arse and hex her to the next century (I hope he will as she doesn't deserve less for all the hurt she gave people).

It's really quite sad the way that Julia has been treated. Ron is a pig, and Molly is insane. I hope that everything works out the way it should soon! Looking forward to the next chapter!

I think Julia is much too special and lovely a person to be married to an utter prat like Ron. I don't believe a man is truly a man who loves his wife if he can't stand up to his mother for her. Ron instead chooses to play momma's boy to his mental mother, unlike his much smarter big brother, Bill. For her own sanity, I hope Julia decides to divorce Ron. Bill, should he find another woman worthy of him, should make sure to keep her far, far away from his mother, at least until she is willing to make some sort of effort to pull herself together and let her children live their own lives. If Molly needs a long talk with a wizarding psychiatrist, so does ickle Ronniekins! Very well-written confrontation scene, I can't wait to see what happens next!

stupid stupid stupid Molly and Ron!  I'm glad Bill and Julia left though... too bad Fleur left him, but maybe he and Julia will get together!  i can't wait to read more!

Molly's behavior was about what I expected, but at least it has become clear to everyone that Molly and Ron are the ones who are deluded and selfish.I am glad that Julia, Severus and Hermione had the opportunity to tell Molly and Ron exactly what they thought about them and their behavior.  Not that it did much good.  I was very proud of Julia for telling Molly and her husband that their sentiments had no place in her life, and she would leave them to their bitterness.But the one for whom I feel the most sadness is Arthur.  I can't see how he has any kind of chance at happiness... his wife has run off nearly every one of her children's' spouses, and now Bill has left as well.  I hope Ginny is ready to stand up to her mother for her own family's sake and for her father.  Lord knows Arthur needs an advocate before he collapses.Very nicely written confrontation!Beth
