Little Megan Cabot is a darling child!  Wouldn't she make a fine addition to Severus and Hermione's family?  Severus is the best husband, and I could have kissed him when he disposed of Molly's Howler is such a fine fashion.  His idea to ‘... vent some of our emotions elsewhere?’  was a great one.  Taking care of Hermione!I wonder how long it will be before Arthur tells Molly she needs to stick a sock in it, that he's heard all he wants to hear abot Severus and Hermione's marriage.  Molly and Ron will have to get past this, or they will alienate any and all of their family... the twins have the right idea!How long will Julia put up with being treated so poorly by Ron and Molly.  I think we may have a small volcano in the making...Great chapter!Beth

Molly is still determined to be ignorantly judgemental, I see. In her mind I'm sure she thinks she knows how things are supposed to be and woe betide anyone who dares to deviate from her grand scheme in favor of their own happiness. Poor Arthur, he's such a good man, it's unfortunate that he's married to such a harridan!As for Hermione, she made the right decision to break from Ron, she'd be nothing but miserable married to such a self-centered wanker like him. I really feel sorry for poor Megan for getting stuck with the literal booby prize, ugh. Good thing Hermione waited for Severus, a loving man who treats her the way she deserves to be treated, like a queen.And little Megan Cabot is just so darn cute! Considering how stubborn Hermione and Severus both are, Ginny and Minerva's "gentle nudging" is an absolutely idiotic tactic. Being harassed about their alleged affection for each other is exactly what will cause them both to crush whatever budding feelings they may have, merely to prove their harassers wrong. Believe me, I know; I am stubborn myself and I can erase newborn feelings like a new blade of grass beneath a tractor if I think anyone is watching, smirking, and conniving at it. I find Minerva's behavior especially to be revolting; Ginny can be passed off as an airhead, but Minerva should know better. Crossed fingers indeed! I was enjoying this story until the connivers got to work. Now I'm just disgusted.

Surprise surprise, Molly throws a fit.  She's so nice and then the minute you don't do something that fits into her plan, you go in her black book.Looking forward to the next chapter. =)

Ron, what a prat! Severus was completely right, especially when Hermione considers Molly as a mother figure. What about her daughter-in-law! I can't even imagine how they are going to react about Hemione being pregnant, maybe they might come to their senses by then!. Great update.

Megan Cabot is a cute character!  Will she take on a more active roll in the story?I think that everyone handled the news of the wedding about as well as I thought they would.  Given time I hope Molly will see the error of her thinking, but Ron couldn't have been more insensitive to his wife if he'd tried.  Julia must be feeling pretty low right now, and I hope she tells Ron how badly his behavior affected her.  The twins cheerfulness at the news was delightful, and perhaps with their teasing ways they can get Molly and Ron to ease up in their assessment of Hermione and Severus' marriage.Good chapter, and now where will you be taking our favorite couple next?  I'm looking forward to your next update.Beth

I hope they will. I can't remember if Hermione's parents are still alive in your story. But I guess if they were she would have invited them to her wedding. So Molly is the closest thing to a mother for her. Surely when she'll look more closely at the pair and see how much in love they are then learned about the two little Snape already in the way, she'll gladly resume her surrogate mothher's role.
As for Ron, I hope his wife will be able to infuse some little common sense in him. Cookies?
