Such a lovely chapter, I do so enjoy seeing the softer side of Severus, especially since he is obviously still quite uncomfortable showing it. But the chapter title, 'Blissful Ignorance', gave me a bit of pause and a sense of waiting for the other shoe to drop. Ms. Skeeter may have been dealt with, but what of Ronald and Molly? Poor Bill, BTW, having to suffer the wrath of his nutter of a mum!

Brilliant update, Angela! I loved the way Severus so easily captured the miscreant beetle. Rita's penchant for the worst sort of mischief has landed her in a ton of trouble. Would it be too much to hope for Azkaban to be in her future? The Slytherin boys who were only too willing to help Miss Skeeter in her bid to discredit the headmaster and his wife will be paying a hefty price for their lies, and I hope the detention Severus sets them works their sorry arses to a frazzle.Once again I have to tell you how much I love Megan. She is brilliant and devoted to Hermione and Severus. She will make a great addition to their family and will be a fabulous older sister to the twins.Well done, my dear! You deserve a pretty bouquet!

I'm glad that's settled. Now they can move on to their happyness again, and contact another Ministry emplyoee for more pleasant matters. Like adopting little Megan for example. After all she is the one who made this arrestation possible.

Oooh, it's so nice to see Skeeter get what she so richly deserves! And it sure didn't hurt for a few prejudiced Slytherins to get a nasty scare and a dose of humiliation either. Somehow, though, I suspect this will be the end of the issue, especially given Molly's involvement.
