I had figured that Ron would be a complete prat, and I have to admit I'm not terribly surprised by Molly's behavior either. Severus is right, Molly's words did indeed do poor Julia a grave injustice, and Ron's behavior indicates that he thinks the same way as his mother. I imagine Julia might well consider leaving Ron over this, and he will completely deserve it if she does. It would behoove him to promptly extricate his head from his arse and get down to some serious apologizing if he doesn't want to see his marriage destroyed. What could be more destructive than for a young wife to discover that her husband clearly would rather be married to another woman?Not to mention that openly denigrating Hermione's choices, her new husband and the father of her child, Ron likewise is probably doing nigh on irreparable damage to what remains of his friendship with Hermione as well. And all that before Hermione informed everyone else that she and Severus are going to be parents. That last bit just might make Ron and Molly's heads explode. At this point, that could only be an improvement.Great update, I look forward to the next one!

Severus delights in being just a wee bit leading in his comments, preferring the students practice the "deductive reasoning" they should have been learning during their years at Hogwarts. I love it!Hermione will certainly field questions from her students in her classes, and she will have to decide what to say to Molly when she calls her on the carpet for not letting her know.This chapter was fun to read and to imagine the looks on the faces in the staff room. Trelawney will probably be polishing her crystal ball to see how she missed that one! LOL!Beth

‘Yes!’ she said in between kisses. ‘Yes, I’ll marry you!’ Never any doubt! This is just wonderful! And I adore the childrens' names. I'm glad that their son will have Severus as one of his names, and the little girl's name is lovely. Of course, they can always change their minds after the twins are born, but whatever they decide, it will be perfect!
