When I read what the Daily Prophet article about Hermione and Severus had to say, I thought, "Hmmmmmm... this could only be Molly."  At that point my vote would have been for Molly's public humiliation, but after Severus' meeting with Arthur, I felt that perhaps a more tempered approach was warranted.  And that is what Severus will do, and I hope it works.After what Arthur said about Molly's mind being a "little deteriorated from the war,"  I wondered if perhaps she has been so overcome with grief that she has allowed "controlling" everyone and everything to become her raison d'etra.  It's almost like she is thinks if she can control everything, then she won't have to suffer anymore.  But I'm only imagining why certain characters do what they do until you decide to tell me.  8^)Ron has no such excuse.  He is just being a wuss, and he needs to get a backbone and stop playing his mother's games.  Beside, that only encourages Molly to continue trying to control all and sundry.Now that Severus has consulted with Portrait!Albus, I hope Hermione will go along with the plan, and Hopefully the plan will work!Thanks for the update, Angela!  Please don't make us wait too long.  Beth

I'm so glad that Julia came to visit with Hermione because it gave both witches a chance to talk over all the "misbehaving" that Molly and Ron have been doing.Julia is a lovely person, and Ronald Bilius Weasley should be ashamed of himself for being sucked into his mother's insane games.  It seems that every Weasley except the two of them have no problems with Severus and Hermione's marriage and soon-to-be parenthood, and if Ron had a brain, he would tell his mother to shut up about it and stop making his wife feel unwelcome.  And while I'm on the subject, what could he have been thinking telling his mother that Julia had still been taking a Contraceptive Potion?  Ron is no Severus Snape! I'm not a bit surprised that Julia has gone to stay with her parents until her husband comes to his senses and "If he wants me to come back, he’ll have to ask me to come back himself."  She's a smart woman, and I'm glad she has "drawn a line in the sand" for her own sake.One thing that still amazes me is that Arthur hasn't said anything to Molly about her dismal behavior... or maybe he has, but the selfish witch doesn't care what anybody else thinks.  Arthur and Severus get along very well.  I wonder if Molly's rancor ever comes up in conversation when Severus is helping him.Severus is such a loving and supportive husband to Hermione.  *sigh*  Don't ya just love him?  I love it when he rubs his hands over her baby-bump and thinks such loving thoughts about her.  And pregnant sex can be such a sweet experience.  ‘You’re beautiful,’ he told her seriously. Hermione smiled widely at that. Only Severus could say the loveliest thing to her at a time when she doubted herself the most. Hermione and Severus are perfect for each other, and I hope she won't be doubting herself for long... she is a magnificent witch and the apple of Severus' eye.As usual, you written another great chapter!  Thank you.Beth

wow!  i just love julia.  she is so perfect for ron but i have some serious concerns about molly.  muggle women can get a little peculiar at that time of life so maybe she needs hormones!  great update.  thanks so much

I just love Severus's and Hermione's relationship. Julie is very kind to allow Ron back, if he sorts himself out. As for Molly, raving lunatic! lol.
