I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.
Admins' Note: Livvy6 died suddenly on February 22, 2012, leaving behind her husband, six-year-old daughter, and seventeen stories well-loved by the TPP community. All who knew her—including those in Harry Potter fandom and all of us, here—are richer for having known her.
Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

Loved the latest chapter - if Severus wants to be a right bastard then she is all for it - it means he is still there and they have not broken him. Good chapter - the sexual tension that Severus is feeling is going to be his undoing in this place because if he is caught it is Azkaban. Hopefully, Harry will find a way out of this situation for him soon. Cannot wait for more.

Next chapter is in the queue. Carson got reemed, but he's a good guy, just over his head a bit and scared. He'll find a way for Severus and Hermione to get some one on one time :)
But the ministry is going to crackdown on all this brutality. Justice will be served.

let me just say "GOD I LOVE THIS STORY.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!
I appreciate that. Especially since this is my first HG/SS fic. Just so you know, I've got some small lemons on the horizon!
Livvy
Really, things need to be improved. This is unconscionable.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
And they shall be, in a very throough and decisive way. There will be justice and soon, I promise.
Livvy
This is such a good story. I have put it in my favorites so that I get an e mail when you post.
Update soon
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you so much! The next chapter in the queue!
Thanks for reviewing!

SQEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! He finally admits he has feeling for her! I'm soooo excited!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Wow! If you this excited now, just wait! he-he

Way to go Hermione! I am glad she stood up to Carson. I hope that she and Severus can find away to have some private time together! I love this story keep it coming! Irish
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Yes, Carson will be backing down and will help to get them some alone time in the future. He's an alright guy, just young and over his head. But he needed to get a tongue lashing.
Livvy
This is the best chapter yet. And you're doing a wonderful job with Hermione. She feels so real to me. Her defense of his right to snap at her was fabulous!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thanks! That was the only thing I could think of her doing. She so badly wants the man she respects to talk with, not a cowering weakling. She is such a fighter in my view, it only seemed right.

What use will the prisoners be if they all end up too sick to work and get carted back? It certainly looks like the aim - getting Hogwarts rebuilt - isn't really something the Aurors / the people responsible for the camp and its conditions care about. As long as the prisoners can be humiliated and hurt enough.
I'm looking forward to seeing things change, eventually.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
There have been massive amounts of people working on rebuilding Hogwarts. The Purpose of the (PWR) Prisoner Work Release was to get those who really should not be suffering in Azkaban out so they can help. But it is still a punishment, so they can not use magic. Their work is mainly for the benefit of getting them out of Azkaban and also keeping them in a "prisoner status" at the same time. The reconstruction of Hogwarts does not hinge on what the prisoners do. So something that was to be an easy load, helping Hogwarts with hard work, outside of the prison, has now turned in a free for all for those who think all these prisoners shouldn't be there in the first place and rot in Azkaban. And that is exactly what they have done, they have driven them to become so ill that they have to return to Azkaban.
There will be severe repercussions for their actions.
Livvy
Hermione really has the heart in the right place!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thanks, she's a tough girl. And she'll have to be with what is coming.
Thanks for reviewing!

This is such a moving story. Thank you for sharing it with us. I do not think I would have what it takes to write such a tale.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you so much! This makes me so happy because it is my first HG/SS attempt. And I bet you could! I never thought I could write Hermione, she intimidates me so much, but a reviwer said she thought I could and voila! Here it is. :) I appreciate your reviewing!
Livvy
Oh, wow, this story is so engaging! I am bouncing between pure hatred for the conditions of the men and the fan-girly squees when SS relieves himself of that, well, uh, pesky masculine plight. (P.S. Shaved headed men are smexy as well, though I do miss his hair, I like the shortness ;P)
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
I could not have Hermione shave his head. Just could not. So shortning it was better because it still produced the same effect of humiliation and shock for Hermione. She took it so much harder than he did.
More angst to come and more pesky plights and soon, Severus won't be doing a "solo", so stay tuned!
Okay, what's going on with "Conversations?" I'm going through withdrawl!!
Livvy
Response from KingPig (Reviewer)
LOL!
"Conversations"... well, the latest chapter is stuck in the queue to be posted, so you should see it soon! Also, I've started a new WIP, and as of right now, it's only been posted on my LJ account: www.kingpig.livejournal.com
Right now just the prologue is posted, and it's boring backstory, but it'll pick up soon! And I solemnly swear, I will *not* abandon "Conversations"!
*hugs*
Wow, powerful stuff you are putting in here and you are right in that assessment of Aush. I can't imagine being Hermione in this situation and Pomfrey, well, hmm. Keep going-- your Harry feels like a real person and not just a boy who got lucky. Nice job.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you very much! Hermione is going to face a lot, but she's a tough gal when she needs to be.

Way to go -Harry should have visited sooner - no need to act like an Ostrich and stich his head in the sand. As for the Head of the Aurory and Pomphrey - sack them both and send the packing - put Hermione in charge of the whole project and they will get the castle rebuilt, rehibilate the prisioners and get it done on schedule without sick prisoners. Where is Rita Skeeter at a time like this and why is she not broadcasting it all over the prophet?
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Well this is a new world and the war is still so fresh in people's minds, no one seems to want to care about prisoner's rights, after all, everyone else has their own lives to pick up and start over. The Aurory also is keeping this very hush-hush, Hermione is only privy to it really because she works in the infirmary. But there will be a day of reckoning, for sure!

Poor Severus and the men and the castle - it is an outrage how they are being treated - the head of the Aurory should be fired and even Madame Pomprey should get sacked - this is criminal the way they are treated.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Oh yes, this is not over by a long-shot!

I cannot believe Harry and Shacklebolt let Severus go to prision and then put him in this program. I was so ticked off a Pomphrey that I had hoped Hermione would tell her was a _itch she was being. I am suprised McGongall is letting Severus being treated this way along with the few Aurors left that now know Severus was an agent for the Order of the Phoenix. This is a sad state to treat a war hero. I hope that somehow you can give him a better life.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Unfortunately, no one has any say in how the prisoners are treated except the Aurory. Unfortunately, therein lies the corruption. THere will be a lot more to uncover and a lot more pain, but Hermione is strong and she will find a way to deal with all this terrible abuse.

The first chapter was emotionally off the charts. The suicide of Ron, Hermione's emotional breakdown (even though it was a quiet one)- it was still a breakdown. Then her anger that followed. The sentence of Severus and how he felt when he last looked at Hermione and then what Harry said to him. This was one great chapter of fanfiction.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you so much! I hope you continue to like the story!

I want and need someone who hasn’t been broken.
And that's so beautiful, and explains it all. What a beautiful insight into him, and into her.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Hermione yearns for something of her past life that hasn't been ripped from her. Someone who will be the same, no matter what happens in life. The question is though, is that love or just dependance?

Well, I'm glad Harry knows, but boy they really have to do something about the evil ones.

Hopefully now that Harry knows what is going on and has seen Snape for himself he will be able to enact some changes. I think that Kingsley should pay a surprise visit. I cannot believe that he would condone such treatment.I wanted to cry with Hermione when she had to cut his hair and even more so when he told her that hair or not he was still the same man.In college I did an indepth research project on the holocaust and your depictions run so true to the memories of the survivors I was able to interview.Well Done and Thank You for the quick updates!Irish

Thank you very much. I need to have a moment that would bring Hermione to the breaking point and this seemed to fit so well. I'm glad I was able to harness the deep anguish taht Hermione felt so you, the reader, would feel the pain with her.
Things are going to change, but it still will be a slow beauratic mess for a while.

It really is bad. At least now that Harry has seen things with his own eyes, there is a bit more hope - perhaps!

It's indeed like a concentration camp. I'm surprised though that no one has tried to kick Hermione out yet.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
As crazy as it sounds, they need her. She works hard, she does her job and she is underestimated as a threat, which is very foolish because she will will be the one to bring this whole house of cards down.

Such horrible conditions! Hermione's very true to character. Sweet and heartbreaking!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
She will prove herself to be the strong woman we know she was meant to become. The girl is gone, but the woman is emerging, and you will see just how spectacular she is!

My husband was a corrections officer until his back got broken, so this chapter hit pretty hard. Although he didn't have to deal with anyone dealing in graph, nor were prisioners abused the mentality you described is dead on accurate. All of the correction officers had a similiar mindset so you did an excellent job of describing the Auror's mentality and a supurb job of showing the prisioners suffering.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Well, thank you very much! That is a true compliment. I got my degree in European History and I specialized in the Holocausrt when I was working on my Masters, so the information I know comes from learning about how the Jews, Gypsies, Blacks, and Homosexuals, and Political Prisoners were treated in the various Concerntration Camps.
I am sorry to bring bad memories for your husband, I hope in the coming chapters he will enjoy some of the vindication and justice coming to set some things to rights.
Thanks,
Livvy
I wonder just how much the Ministry is aware of what is going on. Surely they cannot be completely ignorant?
Hermione's going to have a real fight on her hands. It's a good thing she's such a determined and resourceful person.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Yes she is, and she will be going to the ministry and talking to Harry about it and Kingsley will be informed of the goings on. There is going to be a shake-up and a fall-out of all the abuse and graft that has occured. Hermione will be at the forefront fighting for the prisoners and especially for Severus' pardon or parole. So stay tuned!
