I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.
Admins' Note: Livvy6 died suddenly on February 22, 2012, leaving behind her husband, six-year-old daughter, and seventeen stories well-loved by the TPP community. All who knew her—including those in Harry Potter fandom and all of us, here—are richer for having known her.
Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.
Reviews for Full of Grace
Ohh, I'm enjoying the drama. The danger with all the aurors around is quite nice, and whoa, Poppy is quite the nasty hag here, I must say. Looking forward to the next.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you so much, I'm glad you are enjoying the tension and angst.
Livvy
Hermione really has to talk to Kingsley. Something needs to be done.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
The next chapter is going to be the final straw. Hermione will be going to talk to Harry at the Ministry. Look out for a shake-up in later chapters, unfortunately, things will worsen before they improve.
Livvy
I am really not liking Madam Pomfrey in this! What is her ulterior motive and where are all of the supplies going? The bath scene was the greatest. I wonder when she will have another opportunity to give him relief? Well done. Irish
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
He-he, that was a thought that came to me out of the blue! There shall be another and better time for them to give each other relief, but in time.
Yes, It is terrible how war changes people and makes them do horrible things. All will come out in the end.
Livvy
Wow. Horrible situation, and Evil!Poppy? My, this is a new twist.
Such angst, my dear. You really are going to make them suffer, aren't you?
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Well, at least Snape got a little something out of his bathtime! Hermione wasn't too upset about either, but yes, Suffering is right around the corner. And more evilness as well that will truly test Hermione's strength.
Thanks as always! I love getting reviews from you!
Livvy
Excellent start. See? I knew you could do it. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thanks! It looks like I'll be able to sneak in on my Mom's computer to do my stuff. Must keep the sanity up!
Livvy
Good chapter. I totally hate Madam Pomfrey in here. What a cold bitch. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Yes she is and unfortunately she'll only get worse. So sad what war can do to people!
Livvy
Woah! What the hell crawled up Madam Pomfrey's butt? Why is she so vindictive towards Severus? She knew he was a spy, had to have known the injuries that Dumbledore sustained and she must have known Severus for years. I can see vindictivness with many other prisoners, but Severus was close to home so to speeak. Gripping first two chapters.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
That will be revealed later. Hope you like it.Livvy
Cool start! I liked how you portrayed the wizarding justice system, and the wild emotions were very realistic. I can't wait for Hermione to find the strengh to begin again.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you very much! I hope you continue to like how the story unfolds.
Livvy
This is a very realistic picture. No "silly wand waving" and everything is fixed. I would like to smack Madame Pomfrey upside the head. Who is she to judge the man that helped to save the wizarding world?I am looking forward to how you will bring our couple together. They have both been damaged and now it is time for them to heal each other.Well done.Irish
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you! It will be a struggle to bring these two together, but I hope you'll enjoy the process!
Livvy
Wow, Pompfrey is horrible. I hope Hermione says something to Kingsley.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
She will definately be having words about it, never fear, Hermione never backs down from a cause she believes in.
Thanks for reviewing!
Livvy
Hermione's concerns about winter are worrying me too. I'd hope the Ministry sorts something out by then for the prisoners.
I'm very curious as to where this is going!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Yes, it is going to be a real mess. But Hermione is going to be at the forefront trying to head off the coming trouble.
Livvy
Wow, what a dismal post-war you've created here. I'm having to adjust to Poppy being horrid, but mostly I'm just fascinated by Hermione and Severus and wondering how anything can happen between them with the curse he has on him eliminating the possibility to touch!
You've set up a very real-feeling world here and I can't wait for them to find a way around it.
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you. It will take so doing, but where there is a will, ther's a way. It's going to get a lot worse for them before it gets better, but there will be very tender moments in the midst of the darkness.
Livvy
Good chapter, Livvy! I enjoyed your description of Severus' approach to his imprisonment. Well done!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thanks, I thought with all the years of spying, he would be the kind of man who would welcome a simple life, even if he were a prisoner.
Livvy
Thank you, this was just what I needed. I think you've done a good job capturing the grief. I have just spent five (count 'em) hours on the phone with a miserable freind who has, this evening, so often recited her miseries to me that I was numbed and unable to come up with a better reason than "it's bad karma" for her not to suicide. {Since I, not she, am the one who believes in Karma, that's not a very convincing reason for her.}I didn't want to read a sad story but somehow I started reading this, my subconcious, or the Almighty, pushing me in the right direction. SOmehow reading about the fictional grief of the Weasleys and Hermione, helped me jog my own poor abused brain back into gear. Sadder now than I was before, with tears steaming down my face, afraid to take my blood pressure, I am ready for the next round of telephone psychiatry. My brain is no longer numb, it is full of pain and awake. Thank you for pushing me out of my own numbness, Life asserts itself. I am ready to play my part, which is a sad and stressful one at present.Thank you for sharing this tale (at just the right time.) it is really quite good.

I am so glad. I spend a great deal of time working with hurting women in my church. It sounds from what I read that you believe in God? I am a simple Christain woman who accepts that God loves me with all my many faults and is working with my faults one by one to make me be the woman He wants me to be.
I wish I could give a hug to your friend, and to you as well! You are doing such a wonderful work in her life. It is proof that when we need help, God will provide us the strength to carry on.
I wish I could say to your friend that there is no other deity that promises what Jesus does, that when we suffer, He suffers with us. When we hurt, He hurts and shares in our suffering and is with us every step of the way. I want to encourage you in your service to your friend. And I am so glad my simple story could touch you in such a deep way.

You did it! You captured Hermione!
This is your typically wonderful angst-fest and I can't wait to see what comes next. I'm so glad to see the next chapter is in the queue!

Thanks! It's true, I can't help but give in to the pull of the angst LOL! I hope you continue to like where I take her and Severus during this fic.
Thanks so much for reviewing, it means so much coming from you!

Thanks for reviewing! I've seen your name on my list of favorites. I'm excited to see how this story will be received and after this I have another HG/SS that I'll be posting as well. It has been a challenge. Hermione is an intimidating character for me, so it really stretched me to do this fic.
Livvy
An interesting start. Poor Hermione - she really hasn't had an easy time of it post-war, has she? Ah well, things can only get better for her now!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
It'd certaintly going to be an adventure! And I say adventure with a little tongue in cheek. She's going to come up against some mighty big challenges, but she'll have Severus around :)
Livvy
Very interesting premise! I'll be reading eagerly to see where you take us, oh incomparably Livvy! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thanks, next chapter is in the queue. We're going to see Severus and see how he's been doing, and how he responds to seeing Hermione! he-he!
Livvy
This seems really interesting.

Thank you, THe next chapter is in queue and we'll be seeing a lot more of Snape. Hope you keep liking it.

Dear Livvy, I shant embarass myself by telling you how many times I have revisisted this beautiful treasure chest of prose. Instead I will simply tell you it has become one of my "old friends"... like one of my treasured books that I take down and reread for the nth time when I need the company of the familiar and loved.HugsIrish

Thank you! I am so glad you have been enjoying it so much. Your compliments humble me!Livvy
Incredible story! I have "Need" saved as one of my faves over at Occlumency, so when I read your name over here, I knew this would be a fantastic fic too, and you haven't dissapointed me one iota! I love how you blend drama and angst and determination and love all together to make your fics believable. They're so true to life and you always make sure every character stays true to themselves. Amazing work as always, Livvy!
Response from livvy6 (Author of Full of Grace)
Thank you so much for your compliments! It's hard work, but I love SS/HG ship so much! I hope you continue to enjoy my future fics. I have three in the making now. :)Livvy
