It seems the wizarding world is quite prepared to forget the sacrifices Severus had to make while he was spying on Mouldy-Voldy. They are now quite happy to let him be forgotten and treated as filth not worthy of even normal comforts.I really wanted to smack Pomfrey! I hope Hermione finds a way to improve the conditions of the prisoners.

This is such an emotion filled chapter. It is truly wonderful. You have managed to convey the grief of Hermione and the Weasleys without going overboard.

Another wonderful chapter.  You do a great job getting emotions out of the readers.

I just read the first 6 chapters in one sitting.  What a powerful story.  I love that Hermione sees the humanity of the prisoners and cares about what happens to them.  I've never envisioned Madam Pomfrey as such a horrible person - makes me wonder what happened to her, if she was broken by the war as many others were.Keep up the amazing writing.  I look forward to your next chapter.

This is an interesting plot and a truely unique take on one possible alternate reality.  My only piece of constructive criticism is that your writing is a bit too expository.  (just my opinion)  Good job so far and I'll be looking for the next chapter.

I am glad that things are starting to turn around for for Sev & Herms. What will be in store for her for her help to the prisoners. Can't wait for the next capter.

I am enjoying this story, in spite of its dark aspect.   I felt that the cleaning-out of the crooked aurors and MAdame Pompfrey was a bit cut-and-dried.  Perhaps some more details or a scene or two would have made it more 'real.'   The rest of this tale has been so very real that we all love it. which is why I mention the small perceived shortcoming here.Others may disagree with me on this.  You have made this come alive, chosing small scenes to illustrate what you narrate.  I guess that's what I missed in this case.  But overall, I love it!

Yeah and cudos for this chapter - the bad guys were arrested and hauled to Azkaban. I have been waiting on this chapter and relish it. Now on for Severus's freedom and the day that they can truly become a couple.

Hermione is not the only one wondering if Harry can keep his promise!A lovely chapter. It's nice to get a bit of relief from the horrors, as necessary as they were to build up the story. And I enjoyed Carson's point of view, too (although I dearly hope he eased off once he realised Severus wasn't out to hurt Hermione).

I'm glad the change happened and that Harry began to keep his promise, but that truly was horrible.  And I'm guessing Auror Carson did not get into trouble?

I dont know if you will read this as it has already been finished..... but.....imma have to pout now cause you did not tell me about this story first .....(grinz) I can not believe you were worried about writing a HG/SS storyline. It is a wonderful story that can take a persons breath away. You did a brilliant job of writing Hermione....expessially (sp?) in the part with the wizengamot.... it was fully amazing and went to an extreme that a person can just see Hermione doing. I'm now going back and reading all of your stories (grinz) And you deffinately need to write more HG/SS

I am looking in on your story every time it is updated, and I will read it completely as soon as I see a silver lining in regards to justice being served towards the Ministry. I find your story intriguing and very well written, I just don't want to get to involved while it is still so dark, I would most likely loose sleep by annoyance:-)) Keep writing and update soon!!!
