Now that you have come back to this again, albeit slowly (damn your other obligations!), I have decided to go back to the beginning and re-read this wonderful piece, hoping to take enough time for there to be more new stuff by the time I get back there.I apologize for not having started to review as I was reading (though I may have done so on Ashwinder, I find no evidence of my previous visit here).  Your writing is lovely, rich, and nuanced, and quite erotic, as well.  And this is a great beginning to what I already know is a terriic piece.Looking forward to the return visit, and to more good stuff to come!

the Prince boys sound almost like the Beatles *g* .  I like the verve of Madam Prince; she's much more spirited than her daughter.  I know I wish I had a ladys-maid house elf!!!  Oh oh--the Nexus is trouble.  That Morgen bitch sounds like she looks too much like Lily Evans. *grr*

it's a good sign for the two of them that hermione's memories show both of them in non-sexual activities predominantly, that she sees them as a viable couple worth much much more than their undeniable sexual chemistry.  Plus her mistletoe med gift idea is very thoughtful and loving.

Hermione thinks it's a good thing that she's attracted to Snape w/out the compulsion, but he doesn't sound too sure (characteristically).  *sigh*

Well Morgen is a stupid little thing, isn't she? How many times before she learns Voldemort does not work for her?You are delightful. A most depraved premise becomes, in your hands, a very delicate, and even classy (hee!) story about realistic emotions. The curse of course both brings them together and holds them apart, but I love how expressively it performs that function. Hermione's first experience with sex is extreme, of course, but it's also, on some level, fundamentally normal. We feel consumed and compelled by our first experiences, and it is often a such difficult journey to learn how to combine sex and emotion into a healthy relationship.So I think that old Grams hit the nail on the head. Hermione's growth and maturity really resonates with me. It makes each of her victories over Morgen successively more satisfying, the distinction between them ever more marked. Thank you for such a lovely story! I cannot wait to see what Voldemort does. It should be Snape's pov, right? Such a treat that will be!
