Reviews for The Love You Take
Severus is going to have to put that bitch in her place or kill her one. Which is actually the same thing. I'm not worried about Voldemort because no matter what snakeface has for them Hermione and Severus can work through it. I love this story. Thanks for the update. Tamara
I loved Hermione's put downs to Morgen. What an evil cow Morgen is to go straight to Voldemort - looking forward to finding out how the meeting with Severus, Hermione & Voldemort goes!
That BITCH! Another excellent chapter. :)
Ahhhh! Cliffhanger. Edge of my seat...Glad to see Morgen finally laid low.
the stupid witch. i hope she gets what coming to her. morgen needs a good beating. i hope you update soon.
Wahoo! That'll scare the pants off him! Gets better and better , this does!
Hi, really glad to see you haven't abandoned this, I was getting worried for a minute! This is my favouite story, I've been following for ages, so thought I'd drop you a few words of encouragement to spur you on. Anyway good luck with the next chapter and keep up with the good work!
That was brilliant! Morgen deserved what she got. Now I wonder what's in store for Severus and Hermione's relationship..... Loved the chap!
When are you going to update? It's been more than a month!

Hi, Kirka! I took a break to write Across the Anvil for Sshg316's birthday. But I'm back on task now; I have about 1500 words of chapter 19 written, and I hope to have it finished in another week or so. Thanks for asking!
Response from kirka (Reviewer)
Thanks for the prompt response. I'm addicted to your story, I must admit. Loved Across the Anvil as well. Keep up the good work. Maybe, you'll read a story of mine soon.
Ahhh a second dose of Subversa....just what I needed. You are a true treasure as an author. Thank you for sharing your talents with us! Irish
I'm so happy you updated! I love this story. Don't leave us hanging too long on this new cliffie.
Wow Wow Wow great background on Morgan!! I love the way H likes and feels for the young sev!!! (Me too - me too!) And well I just melted during the first section - I am really having a time gathering myself off the floor! Melt, melt, melt and then more melting!
Somehow, I don't think there actually is a right answer to Voldemort's final question. Well, except for none of the above.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the update!I truly do love this story and can scarcely wait for the next update. Please don't keep me in suspense for too long! :)
Sweet! Glad Hermione finally understands Morgen's place in Severus' life for what it was. I am quite looking forward to the denouement of your plot and its delicious little subplots!
Interesting chapter - felt sad for Severus that he thought Hermione's love was some kind of fault - The pensive memories were interesting. I cannot wait what you do in the story to make Severus want more than just her body - when maybe he might want to keep and protect her heart.
Response from Subversa (Author of The Love You Take)
That's such a lovely way to put it: "keep and protect her heart". Thank you for reviewing.
That was a painful slideshow of memories, although it was good to have the mystery of Morgen's significance cleared up once and for all. It's frustrating to see Severus' self-contained reaction to Hermione's declaration of her feelings, but at least now she knows a bit more about the old flame.
Response from Subversa (Author of The Love You Take)
I'm glad you liked the story of Morgen and Severus. I agree; it was a painful show. Thanks so much for leaving a note!
I am glad that Hermione accepted Severus's response to her confession fairly well. I understand that she was upset, but at least she didn't ruin the relationship they have at the moment. Hopefully she now knows why Severus is not willing to express his feelings.I wonder why Morgen is now using her maiden name. Does Voldemort still expect Severus to marry her after marrying her to another first? She obviously still expects him to marry her.
Response from Subversa (Author of The Love You Take)
I think that little tremble of the hand explained more to her than words. Morgen probably uses her married name when she's at home, but when she's around Severus, she tries not to bring that up, since it's a sore subject between them. Thanks for the note!
what an amazing story! This chapter in particular was heartwrenching... poor, poor Severus. Although I am happy he took Hermione's confession reasonably, I was afraid he would revert back to his old standby of pushing her away again.I love how you have portrayed the development of their relationship thus far. I eagerly await updates!! thank you so much for this wonderful story

Hi, Kizzy! I'm so glad you're enjoying the story so much. I think his instinct really was to push her away and run, but he has promised that he will not do that anymore, so his own honour has him trapped. I agree that he has a sad past. Thank you for reviewing!
When I first read the last few chapters, from Christmas forward, I didn't like them much. Now that I have read them with this chapter, I have changed my mind. Thank you for a delighful, well written story. I wait, impatienly, for future chapters.
Oh God Oh God Oh God! And thank you for the pic!!!!!!!!!
That's a horrible way to end it and I hate you. *pouts and sulks a whole bunch* I'm dying to read what happens next and as much as I hate it, that was a brilliant way to end the chapter. *glares*
I love this story, I can't wait for more (as you might have noticed).
This was wonderfully well done and a terrific length too.
Now they agree that they both belong together, if they would only stop finding things to push each other away. Not only in words but in actions too.
Oh you evil evil author leaving us with a cliffie like that!
Yep, he's freaking out about now. He's thinking it's not possible he better start giving her lessons on building walls in her mind before he has to take her to the dark lord.
Okay, does this curse have potential for the person to fall in love with the other - I mean is it part of the curse to fall in love?
Thank you for a wonderful update.
waves to sub's hub.
What in the world did he think he was going to find? And oh boy, how is he going to handle this? Not well, I'm thinking.
A beautiful and lyrical chapter.
