oh my! First of all, thank you for the update! But, if the previous cliffhanger was evil, there is no word to describe this one; this cliffhanger is beyond evil..... (so do update soon:-)

I hope Severus will find a way round that last question, how ever much I respect and admire his strength and ability to be the spy he is, I don't think my heart will manage to forgive the betrayal it would be (for me) if he states one of their names. He will get plenty of stars in my book for his remark/question about not wanting other mens leftovers in regards to Morgan though, I liked that one:-))Hermione deserves more than one Order of Merlin, first class for her performance here: She is in a room so close to hell as any person could be, being muggleborn in a room filled with Voldidork and his crazy followers, and at the same time (even if she has been told that he has to act so) the man you love and trust betrays you with words and shows intimate "pictures" of you to his derranged Master. Still she manages to follow up on his performance. One is so often focused upon Severus and his bravity, courrage and loyalty, and he deserves every praise, but while he pays a high price for his own, youthful, stupidity, Hermiones crime is to be born to the wrong parents, having the wrong blood, being to smart and being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Erm, answering the question the Dark Lord asked (for one should never be so insolent as to not!), I vote for Dolohov, because I don't think that the Dark Lord will actually give her to Dolohov (although he might, which would probably be altogether horrid, even more so than Wormtail, who is more likely to be intimidated by her), but also because Wormtail=ick! and Dolohov . . . well, have you read "Need the Dark"? (It's not hosted here).However, having said that, I still think Snape is going to answer that which is most likely to have her released back into his care.I think the Dark Lord is playing with Morgen, myself.

Evil cliffie!  You have a lot of tension in this seen which is very clever considering all the dialogue.  This story is a lot of fun.  Thanks for writing!
