This is a full-length Book Seven fic. Cliffhangers and unexpected twists abound, but don't look for beloved characters to die tragically before your very eyes--Fawkes_07 is all about redemption. Written for young readers but hopefully fun for all.
I'm printing out a version for my kids in book format--I even found all the right fonts and everything. Hence the "artwork" in the chapter headings. What can I say, I'm more of a ceramics person than a drawing person.
Can I note with pride that "Heirs of Slytherin" was just chosen as a Featured Story on MNFF? *glows*

LOL! Well, I liked the thought of Dumbles having a not-so-squeaky-clean past, but I had a different take on it than JKR.
This story is really very good, and I'm so excited about the things going on. Everyone survived Lupin, Sirius got his magic back and things are looking up for Harry and Tura.

sigh...drat. My pencil drawings never look as nice as I think they do. I thought the design on his tunic was the giveaway, though.
Perhaps a friedship can take root and grow now. I think you portrayed Draco perfectly.

I think "harrowing" might be a better word. He's certainly had a lot to think about!
Percy seems so much more real and alive the way you write him, I actually feel sorry for the guy!

I always thought he kinda got scapegoated in Canon--it's not like he's a BAD guy, just a little...clueless and misguided. Booksmart but without good sense. I thought once he got a wake-up call, he could be a good character.
Well, it looks like the romance idea just floped. Tura is really angry. Good flow this chapter, and it was nice to see Moaning Mertle again.

I think Harry picked up some slickness when he was poking around in Sirius's memories. As for them getting together...well, there's a lot of story ahead.
Tura is really very nice. I wonder if Harry will have a romantic relationship with her later?

This story is starting to remind me of a roller-coaster all the twists, turns and loops to make onw wild fun filled ride.

So, I was right after all, but at least he found Molly and took care of Harry. I loves the woman's magic segment which reminded me of the old Earth Mother religions.

I made it up, but it has some roots in legend (and some in Middle Earth, but don't tell anyone).

Oh, no, you read it right. Sirius won't let Voldy have Harry, and he means to do whatever must be done.

Zap! It had to happen, though, for reasons that will be clearer later. As for the identity of her angel, Herms has some ideas about that in the next chapter.

I am so happy you brought back Sirius, he is a favorite of mine.I do have a question though, why is Fawkes eating butter, bacon and olive oil? It's an interesting dietary choise and I was wondering how you picked it out.

Well, I'd imagine he needs lots of protein and fat to grow so quickly. But remember, this is HAGRID's idea of a good diet...he probably should be eatiing something more balanced, but given what Hagrid cooks, he probably thinks these are delicacies.

Oh, not much to that--I think Kreacher just kinda grabbed it--he always loved shiny objects--and it moved in when he got banished to the Hogwarts kitchens.
