OK, but why present a nosebleed problem which is possibly fixable ?Now I know that JK presented an explanation after the fact, about his portrait not appearing. But did he abandon his post ? Really ??It's obvious that Severus thought he was dying and the trio thought the same.....In fact most likely he did die.But there isn't anything in canon that shows an examined dead body. And if you are going with canon compliant, why present the nosebleed, which might be looked into ?I realize that you have already written it. But your story does present these questions...Although I do realize that if he doesn't die,who would she end up with young or old Snape :).What I said wasn't meant as a criticism, just curiosity...Carry on !!!
