Reviews for Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages
Have I thanked you yet for writing such a fun story to read, one that I can prop up my feet by the fire and relax with? Thank you. *munches on a hazelnut*
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Aha, but I'm the one you should thank you for allowing me to post it on such a wonderful site.I'm very happy that you are enjoying this. I like to have a little bit of everything in my stories. Those chocolate covered hazelnuts will have an interesting side-effect for our duo.
I'm doing a bit of catching up. I'm glad they got away from Voldie and is that a coming Ginny/Lucy pairing? lol
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, I can't help it. I'm loving the whole Lucius/Ginny thing. Actually I think I could go either way with the four of them. Interchangable couples. southern_witch_69's response: Oh, my. LOL. Probably my favorite for Ginny is Draco out of all of them. I'll take Lucy-love for myself. Hehehe (pats Lucius on the head). And I do like Lucius/Hermione sometimes, but I hate Snape/Ginny. Weird, huh? *shakes addled head*
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
I can handle Draco with Hermione and Ginny, and I can deal with Lucius and Ginny and I also like Lucius and Hermione. But I never liked Snape with Ginny, until Shiloh Dark wrote her story Beauty found within the beast. She hinted a Snape/Ginny thing going, and it worked. I liked it. I had hoped she would continue the story and give it a second part. I mean, she really made it work.I guess it depends on how its written. southern_witch_69's response: I read that, too, and it was the only thing I didn't like about it. I don't know. I just don't think they have much chemistry. That's just me though. And the only other thing about that was that Snape wasn't with Hermione. I like Hermione and Lucius if Snape isn't in the picture or the runnings, you know? LOL That one I wrote was before my Snape days... so that explains my lapse. What bothered me about that one was that he was there and even at one point thought, "Well, Lucius took her," so he looked around and noticed Ginny. I wanted to say, "No! Steal her away!" Hahahaha!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Well there are pairings that not everybody likes. Nothing wrong with that.I'm really enjoying though that there are lots more Lucius/Hermione things out there. It's a pairing I always enjoyed but there was never much of.I love Snape/Hermione, but its nice to have a change now and then.I've got a story which is a Snape/Hermione/Lucius in my computer. I've been working at it on and off for about a year, but I just can't get the plot figured out.If I ever do I can start posting it, but I don't want to do that now if I don't know where its going to go. People leaving a story in mid writing is a pet peeve of mine.
so the chocolate did something to them that they find out later then cool good chapter.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Yes, it did two things. One, which you've seen, was it slowed down the process of their change back to adults. The second you'll see soon. Thanks for reading.
Ooooh! I like. I've been reading this story, and - though I hate to admit it - I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. I am glad to say you surprised me. I do so love your writing, and am waiting for the next chapter.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
I'm glad I made a believer out of you. Sometimes I start reading something and am not sure I'll like it too, until I read more. There isn't anything wrong with that. I appreciate your comments and hope to keep you interested for the duration.I'll be starting a new chapter tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have something to post by this coming weekend. Thanks for taking the time to read this and review.
OMG!! Severus may be physically small, but he's larger-than-life snarky ! ROTFLMAO--for several minutes!! Cute in a "there's something about mary" way.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
He is quite a nasty little piece of work isn't he? LOL, I'm loving writing him this way.I'm very happy you are enjoying this. Thank you for taking the time to review.
good chapter i hope ten is even funnier
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Thanks. I try to put a good bit of humor in all of the chapters.
You updated. I missed chapter 8. So have just read both chapters together. One of the real joys of your writing is the mischief you get children normally upto. Severus getting rid of Ron and Harry was so funny. But now you've let out your secret. Your plots for the kids are things you got upto. Salt in your brothers bed. Talk about sore!! Best wishes and thanks for the laugh.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, well I am guilty of tormenting my brother with salt in his bed, but I have to say, I was never responsible for diarreah.I'm very happy that you enjoy my writing. I hope to always keep people happy with my words. I'm also glad you enjoyed these last two chapters. I should have chapter 10 up around the beginning of next week. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Now those were good pranks. I see I should have come to you now to ask how else I could get my two little children in trouble with when I was writing the babysitting challenge. *snicker* You actually did that to your brother?!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, yes I did. I'm afraid I was a nasty little bugger. I also seem to recall stabbing him in the ass when we were fencing with wooden swords. Um...he was lying down at the time and unarmed.
Oooh... I wonder what that chocolate covered hazlenut is going to do. Next chapter perhaps? This story was an excellent idea. I'm glad you're writing it!!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Two things will happen and they won't be terrible. You'll find out the first consequence in Chapter 10, but I'll put the second consequence in a later chapter. I'm really happy you're enjoying this. I'm having a lot of fun writing it.
Ah, potty talk. *snicker* Very funny. My ribs cracked a couple times, I was giggling so hard. I'm afraid I probably would have acted just like Ginny... said practically the same thing. (Oh, that's right: I do every day!!)
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, I figured Ginny wouldn't be able to help herself. Heck, they look like little kids. But you KNOW little Sev wouldn't stand for being told to go potty.
*snicker* Don't let Hermione hear him call the boys Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber. Excellent Muggle reference. My mother used to call me Alice and my sister and brother Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, oh man, there's a Tweedle Dum in EVERY family. I get the feeling though that in her current state, she would most probably agree with Severus' reference to her two friends.
This is a wonderful story!I have enjoyed reading this. I love it!!! I think Severus and Hermione are cute together. Lucius and Ginny will be an interesting storyline. Looking forward to see what happens to these couples. All around cute and funny story.. Two thumbs up!!!! I am looking forward to more chapters.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Thank you! I was hoping to create something cute and fun as well as romantic.I'll be starting the next chapter soon and hopefully get it posted next week. Thanks for taking the time to read the story.
Ah, romance blooming... I won't call Severus cute I won't call Severus cute I won't call Severus cute. (He's assigned me detention and is forcing me to write this 100 times. I don't mind. He's so cute when he's angry... oops. 200 times.)
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
You can't help but think he's absolutely adorable. Wait til you read him in the next chapter.
Oops... Severus is going to kill her for touching his books without his permission. I like the way she speaks to Severus like he were one of the boys (Harry and Ron). I'm looking forward to more childish behavior. ;)
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, there's more childish behavior to come that's for sure.
LOL!! This story is so cute. Little Severus and Hermione... I love it. Nice and lighthearted despite the tragedy (or so they would think) that has befallen them. This is just what I needed today. On I go to the next chapter!!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
I wanted to make something cute and funny and romantic all rolled up into one story.I'm glad you liked them working together. I picture them so clearly as I'm writing them. I want a pair too.
Oh, a little Severus... how cute!! (He'd probably hex me for that.) I finally had a little time to read, and your update popped up. Yes, I'm a little behind, but now I have a whole bunch of chapters to read at once. And I am looking forward to it... great start!
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
No worries my dear. I know you are super busy. I had been thinking about writing something like this for a while and I'm glad I finally set down to do it.I hope you enjoy the rest of the chapters.
Thank you for 2 wonderful chapters. You've made me think on some orneriest. I'll have to keep that one under wraps.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Hmm...I'm intrigued!I'm glad you enjoyed these last few chapters. I had a good time writing this last one.I'll start on chapter 10 soon.
WHAT AN ADORABLE FIC! I LOVE MINI SEVERUS AND MINI-MIONE. GO KIDS BEATING UP ON VOLDY! I'M NOW SALIVATING AT THE PROSPECT OF MORE. DOES GINNY AND LUCIUS "GET IT ON"? WILL SEVERUS AND MIONE DO THE SAME? WILL LUCIUS GET REVENGE OR MAYBE EVEN A NEW FAMILY? WIL HARRY AND RON EVER DO HOMEWORK ON TIME? THE OPTIONS ARE INNUMERABLE. PLEASE HURRY AND UPDATE SOON, I'M GAGGING FOR MORE! LOL
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying this. I am really enjoying writing the two mini's. I'm also enjoying the whole Lucius/Ginny thing. I got them together in a previous story and thought it worked rather well.I'm hoping to have another chapter up before Friday, if I can actually finish it.
Oh no Albus, what did you do?
Doesn't he know basic Potion safety? I imagine eating something while leaning over a potion isn't proper protocol *lol*
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
That Albus is something isn't he? Damn him and his sweet tooth!I promise it won't be some horrible thing, but I hope that the readers find it to be a nice consequence.
Response from Shishkeberry (Reviewer)
Let me guess? It will sweeten both of their dispositions? haha (bad pun, I know)
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, I don't think all of the chocolate in Hershey Pennsylvania can sweeten Severus.
Jealous mini Severus - delicious! Great chapter. Can't wait to see how the potion turns out.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, you know poor Harry and Ron are in for it.I should have more by the middle of the week, hopefully. Thanks for reviewing.
*SCREAMS erupt from the far-flung lands of somewhere near Seattle, Washington, USA...as Lotm's brain shatters upon reading the words "wee-wee" coming from THAT particular character...because it's IN CHARACTER--!!!!!**SCREAMS, I say!!*~Brain-Broken Victim
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
It was either that or pee-pee, but I get the feeling little Sev would opt for wee-wee.LOL, sorry I broke your brain.
Response from ladyofthemasque (Reviewer)
Lol--no, you're not!!Write more, dammit! (if you want to make amends, that is) And write faster, too!Pweetty pweese??~Lotm
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
I actually have chapter 9 half written. I'm hoping I can finish it up either today or tomorrow, so I should have another chapter up my mid-week.
Response from ladyofthemasque (Reviewer)
SQUEE!! *celebrates by not tying tins to Mrs. Norris' tail!*~Lotm
Way to go Albus.................more soon, need to known if he really screwed up the potion.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
LOL, well he didn't exactly help it. It won't be too bad though.
very cute and readable story. Liking redeemed!Lucius, too.
Response from ancientgirl (Author of Sometimes the Best Things Come in Small Packages)
Thanks, I'm glad you are enjoying it. I like the thought of a redeemed Lucius too.
