Playing catch-up with my reviews now, but I wanted to start with a question: Isn't Hermione a Libra? Bu, on to the actual review. So much to love, here! From Hermione's musings on Neville in a faint (!) to her slow realisation that Snape is a person, I feel almost as if I learned more about who she truly is in this chapter than in any of the preceding ones. And I like what I've learned. And Snape. Ah, Severus, there's a reason she seems familiar, man! But then, we tend to see what we want to see -- or, rather, not to see beyond what we expect to see -- don't we? Although I'd think a man of Snape's experience wouldn't fall into that trap (he'd have made a particularly ineffective spy, otherwise), so I can only surmise he's gone a bit soft since Voldie's demise. Good for you, Severus! It's time and past you learned to relax a bit. Very nicely done.

I loved this chapter, not only because of what happens (well...), but because of the way you wrote it, interspersing thoughts from both POVs with the narrator's voice and leaving much, actually, to the readers' imagination. Probably one of the best chapter so far. Thank you.

Oh, I knew it!  I was waiting for the whole chapter for her to do that!  But...    You are an evil tease, you know that?  huh?  Really, leaving it there?  Honestly, that's the most cruel thing an author has ever, ever done!  (So, I like to exaggerate, sue me.)  Now... when is the update?  Five minutes?  I can't live much longer than that.Moving on to the actual chapter, I loved the way you wrote this, all with their thoughts.  Simply perfect.  Until THAT part at the end.
