Delightful. I love this version of Severus Snape.

I totally loved Neville in this. And his last line - A friendly Snape is even scarier than a scowling one -  Oh, too funny!  I was grinning the whole time. Figures Severus would know the ingredient, and how to make improvements!

Poor Neville.  Hopefully he will get over his fear of Severus.  And yes a friendly Snape is a scary Snape.

Snape being friendly to Neville? I am sure Neville thinks the world is going to end. Good chapter.

INO, this line of work is a bit out of character for Severus, but there is great potential in lessons to be learned and entertaining (as well as heart-felt) situations to be dealt with.Hopefully, not another "My Name is Earl" type of scenario, although the potential for some comedy is there as well.

If a philanthropic Severus Snape seems odd, you cushioned the surprise by having Draco Malfoy (of all people!) suggest the change.  Still wondering about that.  What a neat beginning.

I liked Draco's reasoning when he told Severus that he would have tried. Very nice. It will be interesting to follow Severus in his attempts to help others.

This is original... and I like it.  I hope he is well received *scrolls back up to check for AU rating*  ok, probably not going to happen,  but intersted to see what does happen.  Hopefully, he won't regret his change in direction.

Oh, so he's goin gto become a philanthropist? Interesting. I haven't seen this before. But wouldn't it be better to have joined a organization than use up his life savings? I mean, it will run out eventually. Draco proposing something like that, I almost thought that he'd had a charitable organization in mind?  But then I suppose Severus could start one? We'll have to see where you all take this, won't we?
