Reviews for Journey to Redemption
I love to see an adult Neville! So often people skip right over him, but you've done a nice job bringing him to life. I agree with him, though: a friendly Snape probably would be even scarier than the original ^_^
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Yes, Neville truly is underappreciated.Thank you for reading and reviewing.
I loved Andromeda's conversation with Snape about allowing people to forgive him ... so true to life, and so well done! Kudos.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you!
You fleshed out the concept quite nicely and gave our dear Sevvie some depth. Well done!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
He does have depth. I love him. LOL!
Interesting start to the story ... well done. Off to the next chapter!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you so much!
I still find this kinder Severus amazing.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
It's nice to see a different side of him, isn't it?
I can't wait to read about their date. Well set up.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
thanks! glad you enjoyed it. thanks for the review. :)
Another good chapter! Handyman Snape! I like it very much.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks!
It wasn’t until much later, at St. Mungo’s watching Neville and the nurse administer the potions to the Longbottoms, that he began to wonder what he’d got himself into.Severus Snape at a Muggle wedding? What has he got himself into, indeed.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Does he even own a suit? Oh well, that's what wands are for!
They appear to live in a steampunk age where all the technology can be understood by someone clever.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Yes, I think so too!
"Of course he would help; it was what he did these days, and especially when looked at in that way by this witch."^ *grins* Does she know the power she has over him, lol? Flinging herself at him was awesome. :DOne typo: You're missing a quotation mark at the end of 'I do beg your pardon, Mr. Snape, I was a little overwhelmed. One word usage: 'indelibly'. It's a synonym of "unforgettably" or "memorably". If someone is asked "You remember Luna Lovegood?", none of those words works as an answer (though it would be perfectly acceptable to say that she is unforgettable or that she is imprinted upon his memory indelibly, etc.)I found the chapter well-written, but the "indelibly" brought me up short, so I wanted to bring it to your attention.I loved the image of Severus stuck in a room with Luna and her father. His un-eagerness for his free copy of the Quibbler was beautifully understated. Draco demanding weekly correspondence was quite funny, and Severus being worried about the wedding when he's made it through everything else in the fic so far made me smile.Looking forward to next week. ^_^
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
I think Hermione has half a clue, but only half. We'll have to see what writermerrin has in store for our couple!Fixed the typo, thanks. I used 'indeliby' deliberately as I think Luna's a pretty memorable girl and it shows a dry sarcasm that Snape might use.I loved your review! Thanks for leaving it, and for the nice encouragement!
Great chapter. Can't wait for the final part.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you!
i love that everyone pitched in to help. Great chapter. Your A/N made me laugh.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
hee. thanks. :Pyou know me, always got to have a pie in the face somwhere. thanks for the review.
Just brilliant. I really love this chapter, and I cant wait to see what happens next! Nice work, honey x
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Aw, shucks! Thank you!
Nice continuation. I liked your description of Xeno's printing press, of all things. At least Severus is a red-blooded male, and he can appreciate a sweaty, curvy woman. Now, on to the wedding!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you! Wizarding machines are fun things to visualize.I think Severus is fully appreciative of his good fortune. We'll just have to see how much he appreciates it next week!
Wel, at least the Quibbler is back in full swing.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Somewhat to Severus's chagrin, but it made Hermione happy.
I can see Severus overwhelmed, but he really should tell Hermione about his feelings.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Severus Snape is not a man given to sharing his feelings easily. He'll figure it out at some point.
This was another good chapter. All of you authors are creating a really good story.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you for the review. :)
Romance always occures at weddings. I can't wait! Great chapter.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you! I can't wait either!
Poor guy's overwhelmed by people willingly seeking him out no longer out of necessity but friendship! LOL, like the reminder about the wedding. We'll just have to see how that goes...
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Severus has truly turned over a new leaf, but he needs more practice. The wedding should be interesting!
He'll need a secretary soon for all his correspondence! :)
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
You know, he should take on a hard-luck case. Maybe somebody who can't find work anywhere...wait, somebody catch that plot bunny before it dashes out the door!
This is great! I like the way the changes worked out.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you! Took a while to figure out.
Really, what HAS he gotten himself into? Hopefully the potion will work, and they'll have more than a wedding to celebrate.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Well I think the potion's only supposed to restore the Longbottoms to their "normal" state.Severus is in over his head, isn't he? But I think he can handle it.
Hey Robbi! This chapter was awesome! It was a lot of fun and really easy to picture. I loved it! Thanks for a wonderful update. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :) Thanks for the review.
I love this Severus and Hermione, all business, a bit flip, just right for the start of something good. And Millicent Bulkstrode and Gregory Goyle making it in the Weasleys' wine cellar? Positively brilliant!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. :D Thanks for the review.
