Reviews for Journey to Redemption
ah, that was sweet - not in a saccharin way, but as in a nice way to end. :)

Oh, I didn't realize that I didn't log into this account to answer your review! Thank you!
i liked the scene at the lovegoods', especially the image of mr. lovegood bopping in time to the printing press. :)
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Cool! Yeah, that's his baby.
hee hee. i liked that his face hurt from smiling. nice addition to his good deeds. :D
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
it seemed more him to be annoyed by having to be civil. thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it. :)
nice chapter. i have to agree, friendly snape can be quite alarming at times! :D
Hey, WM! This chapter was perfect! Just want this fic needed as an ending. Loved it! Thanks for putting a pretty bow on this journey! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you for reviewing! I am so bad at endings that I worried a little about being last; I'm thrilled you liked it.
An entertaining story with a good ending. Well done!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you! I wanted to be sure to start them on their way.
I am looking forward to Hermione and Snape's date in the next chapter. Good chapter here.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks!
Hey Javoher! Great job with this chapter! Sorry I'm so far behind! Loved the ending! Severus at a Muggle wedding! LOL! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
You're not behind, you're right on time. Thank you!
After asking you to rewrite this twice, I can't tell you how happy I am with it, though I miss the beautiful descriptions of the outfits they wore to the wedding. I love what somoene said about it being 'steampunk.' Thanks for bringing that aspect to this story; I think we need more of that clever kind of writing.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Aw, what a wonderful, sweet thing to say! Don't worry about the rewrites, I'm just glad you were so patient with my silly mistakes. I'll put the outfits into the closet and pull them out again for the next wedding.
Thanks for the clever way of bringing more characters (and a date) into the mix of this story. This chapter could have been a whole story in its own right.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks! I felt limited by the 2000 words but somehow managed. :D
Very cleverly written chapter with lots of memorable phrasing and ideas. You really helped to give us direction with this chapter. Thanks so much!
Awwww! What a perfect ending! They've each devoted so much time to helping others. It just seems so right that they should be each other's reward. I see a bright shiny future for our favorite couple. So long as Hermione can keep her flirtatious aunts under control! I can't blame them for trying, though.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
*BIG SMILE* Definitely can't blame them for trying. Thanks so much for the review!
Wow, yes, I really like this ending. I especially liked your use of dialogue to show the change in their wants. A nice story and I'm glad that he's going to have his own business.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks. I like that they can help each other learn about themselves.
Wow, I can't believe I never thanked you here for giving us such a good start. You brought up so many things for us.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Oh, it's all right, Merrin. I tried to give him the most believable start I could see that would allow all of our teammates enough to build on. :) Thanks for the review and the appreciation.
*Sigh*You did an amazing job with that final chapter, WriterMerrin.I had to laugh about Hermione's aunts flirting with Severus, and felt as uncomfortable as Hermione when she talked about reasons for him to help her move. And in the end a content sigh escaped me.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
*blushes* Thank you.Your note really encouraged me to bring out that scene, and I'm so thankful.Yay!
A lovely ending to a lovely story. Well done to the entire team.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
On behalf of my team, we thank you. I've enjoyed writing this so much, and I've been really looking forward to getting Hermione and Severus to this point.
Such a tender, beautiful ending to a wonderfully original, creative tale! Bravo, team Mars!!!(Btw, this line – "‘First it’s “cool” and then “like”? Your vocabulary used to be more refined.’" – had me rolling in my chair from laughter.)
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you so very much. I'm so glad that line made you laugh.
Aaw, poor Severus! I imagine it can definitely be more than a tad overwhelming for him!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Well, he wasn't expecting quite so much friendship in return. He'll take it, though.
"‘I had tea with Neville Longbottom today and sent him into shock. I view it as a medicinal necessity.’" *cackle*"‘No, Mr. Snape, I just mentioned it in a moment of gloating.’" ROFLMAO!!! Incredibly witty, that Granger girl!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thanks mate. I'm glad I made you laugh. Thanks for the review. :)
Oh, your Neville is so adorable!!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you! After DH I thought he might be more confident, especially if he does something he is really good at. Some things will never cease to frighten us, though.
I love the idea of Teddy copying everyone's appearance – and it was truly brilliant the concept of Andromeda needing assistance so that she could be sure she brought the correct child home, lol! I do have a question, though – was it a Muggle park, or Wizarding one? I just ask because I wonder how Andromeda managed to hide Teddy's perpetual transformations in the midst of Muggles, if it were a Muggle park... and if it were a Wizarding one, did other parents feel slightly annoyed at Teddy's presence, assuming that they, like Andromeda, were afraid of taking the wrong kid home?
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
LOL, you don't know how I've been hoping no one would notice that! It's the flaw in my chapter, for sure. The answer is that I'm not really sure. I do know that even when we're watching our kids at the park we don't have our eyes glued to them every second, so I don't think anyone realizes when he's transforming. They just look one minute and then he's a different kid when they look again. It would seem that his clothes would be a givaway, too.Probably it's a park with mostly Wizarding kids and the end of the afternoon has some mamma dragging Teddy and the kid he looks like over to demand that Andromeda help figure it out.Thank you for the review!
Response from KingPig (Reviewer)
LOL, "some mamma dragging Teddy and the kid he looks like over to demand that Andromeda help figure it out" – that makes such a hilarious, adorable mental image!! I can just imagine Andromeda's long-suffering expression!
Hilarious solution to ridding the house of that ancient hag!
Ooo, what an original idea! I honestly never considered Snape volunteering before – rabid plot bunnies are multiplying by the second!
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Oh, thank you! It is a rather new idea that certainly could be explored. *gives carrots to the plot bunnies*
Nice ending, forcing them both to say what they've wanted to for some time.
Response from Mars1 (Author of Journey to Redemption)
Thank you. It was interesting for me to figure out how to make that conversation come about. When you've read all of the stories, be sure to go to LJ and vote: http://community.livejournal.com/petulantpoetess/2532.html
