Interesting, Draco persuading Severus into doing something Altruistic. Who knew a Malfoy could be capable of altruism? But Severus's life after he turned to the light was actually an altruistic life. He may have been a cruel and sarcastic altruist, but everything he did as Dumbledore's spy and while he was headmaster,especially, was for the altruistic goal of protecting Harry, the student body, and defeating 'He Who I Find Most Tedious & Tiresome.

Now that wasn't too painful, was it?  Nice going.  Severus might be good at this helping thing afterall.  Good luck, JoAnne

An excellent choice for the first person to assist. His fear of rejection should be somewhat qualmed by now. He has made amends with Harry and gained a possible new friend in Hermione. A good day's work by anyone's standards!

Interesting.  ^_^ I definitely don't usually see Severus as the volunteering type, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys pull it off. Severus does have a lifetime of regrets, though I hope to see that some people recognize all he's done over the course of the war....Glad to see it's summer, lol, and Severus isn't leaving Minerva in the lurch during term time. ;)

I liked the relationship between Draco and Severus.  I'm curious to see what Severus will do to attempt redemption.

Aw, I think friendly Snape is sweet.  I daresay Neville will get over his fear after a while.  Provided he is given enough of a while.  Very nice chapter, i love the confident, grown-up Neville.

I love the camaraderie in this chapter.  Folks from different Hogwarts houses working together in harmony.  Severus is doing well on his redemptive journey and has a date with Hermione planned.  Things are improving for him in this lifetime.
