Such an interesting chapter.  I suppose Draco as the mysterious poacher is too obvious?  Anyway, an interesting beginning chapter, you were inspired nicely by the chosen words.    I look forward to the next installment, (just like the Saturday matinees when I was a kid.)

Another interesting beginning. I think Hermione would make a great addition to the Dept. of Mysteries. Good to know she trusts Snape enough to turn to him in her hour of need.

i can tell this is going to be a very interesting story; the first chapter is well-written and very engaging.  i do have an inkling about the identity of the mischief-maker, although i could be wrong...are we going to find out if hermione is with ron in this post-War universe?please update this soon - it's very good!

I was wondering about the same thing, really, it would be brilliant if it was Dumbledore, but I guess he'd have a phoenix instead of a dragon... Maybe something Hogwarts related... Never tickle a sleeping dragon?Anyway, very intriguing start!
