Great story so far. Love the intrigue, which I usually can only take a little of. But for some nagging reason I keep thinking that its someone wanting to resurrect Dumbledore, not Voldy. Anyway, can't wait for next chapter!

Didn't see the Fiendfyre coming and absolutely loved the effects of the Belladonna smoke. If only Croaker hadn't shown up just then. ;)Am amused that Michael Corner has become "Pervert Corner" in Severus's head. :DLovely chapter. ^_^

Very exciting read. I loved the description of the lineament, and the word "Fiendfyre". I'll have to put that in my Arcane Vocabulary. So belladonna smoke enhances feelings already present, eh? Makes sense. It dilates pupils, and stimulates the heart in Muggles, so why not swell feelings as well?

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The word Fiendfyre is from Harry Potter, it destroys the horcrux in the Room of Requirements. It is an interesting idea though, isn't it? I love the idea of fire coming alive. And I think the belladonna idea wasn't a stretch, either. Thanks!

Eeew, hopefully not like Dumbledore! You'll have to wait and see, like Severus.
Excellent start! I have one issue with this though - the location of their meeting. Hermione would have been more careful than to meet SS and outline the problem in public, even if it's in a dingy pub. She would have learned her lesson after having Dumbledore's Army spied on at the Hog's Head.Other than that, this is terrific so far :)
