Reviews for Bad Moon Rising
Yes, nice pace to the story so far. I am interested to know if Severus can make heads or tails of her lists. I also liked the bit about the Knightbus to cover her Disapparition. =o)
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thank you very much! Oh I think he can, and he'll prob see something she's over looked! Male perspective and all. lolI'm glaf that you liked the bit with the bus. tee heheThank you very mcuh for the review.bea~
No wonder Hermione's a tad paranoid at this stage! Nice use of the Knight Bus as a diversion to cover their apparition. I do hope Severus can spy something in all her precise work to help. Only 22 days to stop a madman. I can't wait!
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Yes, things are a bit unrattling for her. I'm glad you like the bit with the bus. I'm sure he'll see something she missed or just overlooked - you know, the male perspective!Thank you very much for the review.bea~
Well - I can say that this certainally has more complexity to it than the other entries I have read. You have moved the pace fast enought to keep our attention but the prose is not long enough to bog us down. Well done ladies! Sara
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
thank you very much. Yes, we have a lot planned in only seven chapters. i hope you like the ride around our ring, it should be ripping!Thank you very much for the review, sara.bea~
I don't know how I missed this story last round. It sounds like you got off to a good start. The secrecy was well done, and allowed the chapter ending to have a real kick. Ganache covered dark chocolate chunks all around ladies! *Smiles - Sara
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Mmmm, ganache... my favorite!Thanks, Sara!
Good work on this chapter, Maria.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thank you swetie! that means a lot to me! I know yours will be awsome when it's your turn. See you in the locker room!bea~Oops, thank you for the review, doll!
Very good chapter indeed! And I don't want to sound paranoid myself, but after our experiences with Scabbers are you sure this kitten can be trusted :-)
Keep up the good work all of you!
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thank you very much - we aim to please, taunt, surprise, and hope you enjoy the ride around our ring! Oh, 'kitten' was one of my words. So I only intended a bit of cute fluff. Who knows what my team mates will make with the kitten. lolThank you very much for the review.bea~
this is pretty good, good plot good wriitng. well done
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thanks so much!
Good chapter, Maria! :) Can't wait to see where this goes next!

LOl, me too! I'm glad that you liked it. I can't wait to see what Brena does, that should be fun! See you in the locker room!bea~oops, thank you for the review.
The mystery is quite interesting.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thank you, blue. I hope you enjoy the ripping ride around our rings! Thank you for the reveiw, doll.bea~
Sounds like quite an interesting story, can't wait to read more!
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thank you! Hope you enjoy the rest.
I'll tell you I'm so glad I didn't participate because I don't know some of the words from the prompt. So writing a story with them... Anyway, this is a very promissing chapter and I long to read more. !Fortunately sunday is not very far away.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Too true! Sunday is right around the corner. With the words, we only had to use three, so even if you weren't familiar with some, you could do a good chapter. I'm just an overachiever and was tickled that I got all the words in. LOL!
Hmmm... the most powerful wizard of all time? Grindelwald and... yes... Dumbledore come to my mind well before Voldemort. Or do y'all have someone else in mind, someone further back in time... or perhaps further forward? Can't wait to see what you pull out of your creative caps.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Can't really let that cat out of the bag, or bunny out of the hat. Hopefully you'll enjoy the ride.
I misread the rules and thought that we couldn't write reviews for our team's chapter rather than for just our own chapter. So sorry that this review is so later, debjunk. ('Cause then I saw the rest of the team's reviews and realized that I must have missed something, lol.) ^_^"Miss Granger," he said curtly. "I thought you would choose somewhere more voluptuary than this dive that probably can't even make fish and chips correctly!"^ Got to love a man who can use "voluptuary" and "dive" in the same sentence. :DAnd since I somehow doubt that there's a wizard word specially for lineament (though maybe I'm wrong), I think Sev just doesn't like to admit that he doesn't know something. ;)Very nicely done. ^_^
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thanks, phoenix! Severus is definitely on the ball with his vocabulary, using it to his snarky advantage. Of course, you're right, he'd never admit that he didn't know something.
A very intriguing beginning to the story. You certainly have set the stakes of failure high. I wonder if the wizard the suspect is trying to resurrect is Voldemort. It could be Dumbledore, or perhaps one of the founders...
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Could be, M. Could be...Glad you enjoyed it.
"He had to admit, he was intrigued."And so am I! I say we bind Hermione, fill her full of Veritaserum and make her tell all, Severus. It's an NC-17 rating, so we can do that, right? If he's going to take hexes for her, he has the right to know!Excellent work with the vocabulary words, by the way!
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
With that rating, I think we could do anything we wanted, definitely! He definitely has the right to know. I'm sure he won't let her hedge anymore. (He seems rather put-out.)Thanks so much, hon! Was thrilled to see you reading this. ;)
Response from MoreThanSirius (Reviewer)
Well, taking an unexpected hex in the back meant for someone else could make one a bit miffed!
Cool, a mystery, I'm hooked. Plus, Unspeakable Hermione, even better.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thanks! Hope you continue to enjoy Unspeakable Hermione and her escapades!
I can't wait for next Sunday! :)
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Thanks! We will NOT disappoint you!
It also turned out that it was much more comfortable in the storeroom if Hermione's arms were wrapped around his neck and his around her waist.FOR THE WIN! One of the most creative ways of describing a first kiss ever. There are many great turns of phrase and interesting clues, but that one is the best.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
*grins* I'm delighted that you enjoyed that moment; I certainly enjoyed writing it. Thanks for taking the time to review.
Great chapter! Smooth writing and fascinating characterization. Loved the near-kiss and Sev's thoughts about it.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
Wow! Thanks, what a great comment! I'm glad you liked it.
I had my suspicions early on that the Voldemort angle was a red herring. My money is on Dumbledore. ;)But you need some excuse to get Hermione and Severus together, and this mystery is a great one.Another fine chapter.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
LOL You shall have to wait and see. ;)Intelligent as they both are, I think they're kind of hard-wired to Voldemort plotting, so it took them a little longer than our suspicious readers to get to the maybe-not-Voldie bit. Besides, excuses to get Severus and Hermione together are always fun to manufacture. :DThanks for taking the time to review.
Once again a very interesting chapter. I like the interactions of characters as well as the plot. It is nice to see Harry and Severus in the same room and acting like they have both grown up a bit -- not alway sniping at eachother. I look forward to your next submission. Thanks, JoAnne
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I'm rather fond of putting Harry and Severus in a room together and seeing what happens. And since it's been a decade, I think they need to be at least a little more grown up. ;)Thanks for taking the time to review.
The plot is coming out of the closet.
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
LOL Yes, indeed. :DThanks for taking the time to review.
YES!!! *singsong voice* They kissed in the cupboard. And it was time they realised the mysterious perpetrator was NOT after Voldy's body. Just wonder whose corspe he is after?
Response from Saturn (Author of Bad Moon Rising)
I'm glad you enjoyed the progress on, er, all fronts. :DYou shall have to wait for the rest of the story for more answers (natually, lol). ;)Thanks for taking the time to review.
