Love the mixture of humour and suspense in this chapter, Brena. The growing interaction between Severus and Hermione is so much fun to watch. Severus's protective instincts when it comes to crushing Michael Corner were very pleasing. :D

This was really good! I'm curious to know who the "creator" of the potion is. (hopefully it is not glaringly obvious and I am the only one who doesn't know!) I am very glad that she was not offended by Severus stepping in where Michael Corner was concerned. I sure hope Kingsley is thwarting their efforts because he thinks it is a waste of time or something, and not because he is involved. Really anxious for the next chapter!

Ooooh! Tigger is a very smart kitty! The investigation is moving along nicely, as is the growing relationship between Severus and Hermione. Unfortunately, the investigation part seems to be going exactly to plan for our madman. Drats! I must say I raised an eyebrow at Kingsley's behavior. Hmmmmm.

Great job, BrenaMarie. You still have me guessing at the identity of the evil genius trying to resurrect Voldemort. But the Ministry made it convenient, keeping his body rather than destroy it. When will they learn? A fine continuation to the story.

Love the particulars: potion ingredients and their uses, minerals, poems. It makes the story very real, and I feel myself drawn into the mystery with Severus.

Nicely done, bea. ^_^ I enjoyed all the details of the work that Hermione has done before she asked Severus in to help--shows she's an Unspeakable for a reason.I also enjoyed Severus's extreme reluctance to so much as board the Knight Bus, lol. Had he not so clearly stated that he'd never been on it before, I'd suspect some sort of childhood trauma that involved something in the lines of a sick Madam Marsh and perhaps hot chocolate in the face. ;)Seeing Severus unwillingly notice how much Hermione has grown up was also very pleasing. Thanks for such a lovely addition to the story. ^_^
