Reviews for The Wayward Wand
Vidalia is one of a kind, with a wicked sense of humor, to boot. Her appreciation for Flitwick's particular "gifts" was a hoot. I couldn't quite figure out why she called him "Hoops," so when she revealed the secret to Amber, I laughed out loud!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Glad you liked her! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Second turn for Snape. Mmmm Yumme. I thought about it and I think I can also picture Voldy smoking after sex (and that should be at least 10 bother for him)
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
I draw the line: HWMNBN is never going to visit TWW. Really, can you picture him giving up his wand to Hastings? He'd just blast him into butler dust.
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
HWMNBN ? I rtied to guess but I'm cluless. Help please *smile*
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
He Who Must...
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
*stupid stupid stupid* Honestly sometimes I should beat my head against a wall...
I wouldn't have thought Lucius the submissive one but considering this I might buy a latex suit for next time Oops I think I said too much ;)BTW I check the little cards for each client and *bows deeply* they're simply fantastic.
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
ROTFLMAO!!Glad you like the cards. They are SO much fun to do.I've also had so much fun illustrating corianderpie's story Caramel that I'm looking around for other stories I like that I can make the same sort of illustration for. I can't draw people worth crap, but I love the collage-style PS manips.
Hm, my favourite chapter so far. In fact, I think I might just re-read it right now!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Bon appétit Thanks for reading & reviewing.
*fastening seat-belt, trying to avoid thinking of the accident-sites ahead, while eyes almost popping out of head contemplating the chaos that lock of hair is going to cause.*
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Dueling Malavis...who will be watching? I'm thinking Percy Weasley.
Response from Pyttan (Reviewer)
*Shudder*He's a Coyote-fuck if it ever was one...
Well, I'M wide awake.... Love the story. Love the cards.
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Heh.Thanks. Glad you like.
So, he went for the dark-skinned girl with the good but not overly large tits and the really black hair...this from the 'tit-man' who does not like to be touched other than where ...necessary...and he went for the texture of the hair...hmmmm...metinks he is looking for a substitute for Rawa...como si eso lo fuera a ayudar!!! Bwahahahahaha!!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Essssactoooo...
I started to say Malavi almost made history with "the famously unfuckable potions bloke," but then I realized that even though he didn't fuck her, she and he had made history! He had been tender as he rubbed her back and buried his face in her hair.He had touched her, had removed her negligee himself, had lifted her up so that he could carry her into the water... and he had made her come. Yes, this time for and with the Potions bloke had been undeniably different. And he had requested her. Hummmmmm. Make me think there is something special about the Potion master's feelings for Malavi. And even though she didn't get the 55 Galleons, she did get ten. Indeed, what Bruce didn’t know wouldn’t hurt him.Really good chapter! Different from the others, yes, but really good!Beth
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Thanks!I indulged myself in a little crossover here with my other fic, Soroche, which is why this one's different.
Hmmmmm...intriguing. Will we ever get to find out exactly what prompted Severus to go against expectations? I find it hard to believe that he simply felt he needed a little variety for a change. Since his life as a spy and a Death Eater is so chaotic, I imagine Severus as being very much a creature of habit who actually finds some degree of comfort in routine since it's probably one of the few areas of his life in which he has complete control. Speaking of control, am I correct in foreseeing that the lock of Malavi's hair will be the catalyst for an event worthy of any bedroom farce? It's not too hard to realize that Bruce probably wants it for Polyjuice Potion so that he doesn't have to wear the wig. Something tells me that Bruce (and possibly his client -- Narcissa, maybe?) are in for a shock!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Re: the lock of hair--yes indeedy. The whole pool business is an incestuous crossover from my other fic, Soroche. Read that and all will be revealed. :-)
Response from MlleGigi (Reviewer)
Ah...I gather that the reason why Severus asks for Malavi is because of his growing attraction to Rawa? With a name like Malavi, it seems safe to assume that her ethnic background is a little more exotic than that of the average British witch -- it seems as though he may have requested her because she more closely resembles Rawa than any of the other girls in the house. It would also explain Malavi's confusion over the indication on the card that Severus is a breast man, if he's looking for someone who closely resembles Rawa (since she lost weight from her chest after being attacked). On another topic...Severus's client card at the Wayward Wand notes that he'd be interested in watching Lucius in action. Does he know, I wonder, that he's the subject of Lucius's BDSM fantasies???
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
There's actually a conversation in a later chapter where Snape makes reference to visting the WW.Malavi's Indian. No, Snape has no idea about Lucius' little secret. Neither does Narcissa.Ooh, I haven't written Narcissa yet. Maybe she should get the smoking lube...
Why does none of this faze me at all, I wonder? It really doesn't surprise me that Lucius is a Sub -- based on some of the reading I've done, quite a few wealthy and powerful men are. The fact that his...*ahem*...other wand doesn't amount to much explains a great deal (such as the likely reason why Narcissa is also a client of the Wayward Wand)! It also suggests that there's more to his involvement with Voldemort and the Death Eaters than meets the eye. His behavior after giving the safe word struck me as a little odd at first -- but now that I think about it, I can see him being a little disgusted with his own willingness (eagerness?) to let himself be dominated and punished by people whom he views as inferior to himself. The fact that he requests the male to dress up as Severus -- a half-blood -- suggests this as well, I think. Clearly, Lucius is something of a conflicted soul...
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Yes, I think he definitely has murky depths :-)And I did love endowing him with a teenie weenie.
So, wait! If Severus would like to watch Lucius, and Lucius fantasizes about being a sub to Severus, does that mean that Lucius might get the "Fuck the Potions Bloke" pool? I'd pay to see that!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
ROTFLMAO!!!!!That is a possibility that had not occurred to me!!!!I think the fandom is probably divided: those who would pay to see it...and those who would pay NOT to see it!
This chapter is inspired! Nothing like getting summoned in the middle of fantasy sex and forgetting your SW. Godz, that's funny!!!! Well done!!!Beth
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Glad you liked! This was actually a rewrite of the chapter, which was originally much darker. I'm a lot happier with LM shouting out "Eggs benedict!"
Response from braye27 (Reviewer)
Just reading your reply has started me laughing again. I swear, tears are running down my face!
LMAO! Fred Mertz and George Costanza were a hoot with the front door/back door routine, and swapping out the lube is a laugh. Will we get to see who is smokin'?
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
I have not yet decided who should smoke...any suggestions?
Response from braye27 (Reviewer)
Uhhhh... Flitwick?*shakes head*
A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. LOL!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
ROTFL!
The Potions Bloke is in rare form tonight! Miss Zelda's note on Severus' card about his wanting to watch LM cracked me up. "Lula’s Lascivious Lingerie" is a stroke of brilliance! Well done.Beth
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Thank you!Just a little buried hommage. Sometimes they catch 'em, sometimes they don't. Re: SS & LM: read on...
This story is like an accident site, I really, really don't want to look at it, but first I have to slow down because of the traffic jam and then I must look where I am going and then I can't help myself, I look up and WHAM the thing is burnt in to my retinas...I just know I will continue reading...the HP universe will never be the same again.*horrified giggling erupts*
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
This is my favorite review ever.
Response from Pyttan (Reviewer)
You just have no idea what you've done, do you? You freaked me out. I'm not a freakable person! I'm still breathing in a paper bag to calm down after reading the Sirius chapter! And worst of all; I can't wait for next chapter! Please tell me it's not Flitwick, I can't handle Flitwick. And stay away from Lupin, if you did THAT to Sirius I don't want to know what you'd to to poor Lupin!*more hysterical giggling ensues*
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
*evil laugh*Flitwick is in beta. Here's a taste: his favorite is a big bodacious whore recently relocated from New Orleans.Prepare yourself.
My, my, my, Mr Malfoy. Full of surprises, aren't we?
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Well, he certainly surprised me.I confess I didn't much like writing this chapter, and I'm glad it's over. Happy to move on to lighter material. Two more in beta as we speak.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Reviewer)
Even if you didn't like writing this chapter, I must say I enjoyed reading it. I knew Lucius was twisted :PLooking forward to that lighter material!
Oh my! I think my favorite part all told was Severus' card- hilarious. Twins and Sirius tiptoe along the line of serious squicky for me, but Severus? Perfect!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Glad you liked it--I'm working on an image of that card. Suggestions for things to include are gladly accepted.
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
, I actually have a mockup of this card if you'd like to see it. Just email me through the site and give me an address to send it to.
That makes Amber the local "Dog Whisperer?"
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Oh, you are worse than I am.
Froople and Bilch - Half Blood Prince?? It seems the logical answer...at least to me. If I'm right, that would be Ravenclaw.I am really enjoying the fruits of your perverted mind...*sighs*. It's nice to know there are others out there. Yes, the chapter with Sirius was squickie but so very funny!! Looking forward to more!
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
50 points to Ravenclaw it is!!!!!!
Response from Canny (Reviewer)
It is always such an honor to earn points for my house. Specially since I got them having a lot of fun!! Yay, Ravenclaw!!
Hee hee. Apparently these two really do do everything together - even lose their virginity. and I liked the little homage to their trickster nature at the end. ;)
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Well, I couldn't let them leave without some sort of prank, now could I?
Hahaha. It was quite squicky and grossed me out frnakly, but that last bit - how dogs are stuck together afterwards, (mostly) turned the squickiness to humor. thanks for that last bit or I might have had to use a little brain bleach. :)
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
I buy that stuff by the gallon.
Well... I guess Snape has no problem with "inhibitions". LOL
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Would you, if you were Snape?
Hmmm... so Severus doesn't actually do the deed with these women? Interesting. I hope, in future, we'll learn why that is, although I realize this is not actually a story of a single character. Very well written and humerous. On to the next... ;)
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Glad you're enjoying it!My opinion is that he prefers impersonal sex with as little contact as possible, which allows him to maintain a symbolic sort of fidelity to Lily.
"They’ve pooled their Christmas money to buy a whore." Still working on the alias ...
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Those boys are so sweet...
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Here's a hint: it's an anagram.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Reviewer)
This is driving me potty! Are we just after "Froople and Bilch" or the whole phrase "Froople and Bilch, Chemist, Manchester"?
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Just "Froople and Bilch."
Response from morgaine_dulac (Reviewer)
*smacks forehead* HBP?? That easy???
Response from Hechicera (Author of The Wayward Wand)
Yep. Always seems easy AFTER you get it
Response from morgaine_dulac (Reviewer)
So annoyed with myself right now!!!*ducks so Head of House won't deduct 50 points instead*
