Reviews for Caramel
Dear corianderpie.Your story is well worth the wait. Your description of our two lovers is sweet, charming and ... well ... downright hilarious. From Severus´ playfulness and lack of concentration to Hermione's frustration with him and her wicked ways of getting even, it was just priceless. I wish you a happy holiday, and look forward patiently to the next chapter.

thank you, dear Contessa. It's taken me a while to respond, but your kind review is no less appreciated. :D
Yay! I was just thinking about you and this story today, wondering when you'd be back to bless us with more naughty lovliness. And here you are!Congrats on placing in the Best New Author category of the awards! Good for you; you're amazing.Loved this line from this chapter:‘Apology accepted.’ She made the words sound more like, ‘You have a reprieve from your blood-soaked death. For now.’ Not really the tone to make a man feel at ease.

Thank you! I think I was channeling PG Wodehouse a little on that line from Ron--Bertie Wooster, who is always getting in deep dutch with girls. Good old Ron. No good for our HG, but still ah luvs him.
holy wow that was hot. I bet Lavender saw the flush in the Great Hall...
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
She just may have. Trouble, trouble, trouble, Miss Brown...
The next chapter?? I'm still gulping in air from this one. Goosebumps all OVER me body!!
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
La la la! Let the smutty goodness flow! :D
Still loving this story. I'm just so disappointed I didn't start reading it sooner.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Glad you are still loving! *smiles at you*
So THAT's why it's called the Restricted Section! I'll tell you what, Cori, this chapter was unbelievably sensuous, and I thought Hermione's reaction to his "ministrations" was perfect. How could she just go back to her Common Room and act as if nothing momentous had happened? I couldn't have. Whew-boy! That's was some kinda hawt, and I think you've created another wonderful memory for both of them. (I'll certainly never forget it!)Well done!Beth
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
One of many reasons it's called the Restricted Section. :D I don't know if this is a common place for hawt luv in SS/HG, but it sure is a favorite place for Dramione authors (and probably a dozen other ships)...
I always see this story on the list of recently updated fics but have felt too busy to start something that is already over 25 chapters long...but I took the plunge this morning and am very glad I did. I'm totally hooked and can't wait until tonight when I can read some more. :)
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Yay! *dances with you* Thanks for taking the plunge, and thanks for letting me know the water's fine! :D
I love this story. I am allways a bit nervous when reading a 6'yearstory. Allways hoping that at least one person who know Severus and loves him will know he is not a traitor, well I will see eventually what you have in store for them. at least for now he has some joy in his troublesome life. Looking forward to updates
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Thank you so much. I do want him to have both joy and vindication. Hope you keep enjoying the story. :D
This was a totally awesome chapter. Can't wait for your next update.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
I squish you! Thanks!
Ha! So hilarious that Hermione has to write a checklist (what? Not color-coded and charted?!) to be sneaky. She's just been so *good*! And now what is Sylbil Tretipsy going to do? The combination of thick headedness and drink is a little concerning. "wink"
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
I think the thickheadedness will save the day in this case. Sybill mostly wants to be left alone with her cooking sherry. Full of additives as it is. Tsk. :D
Wow, They certainly aren't wasting any time are they, and in the library no less.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
I agree. Moving fast. No time to waste! :D
It will be hard for her to act normally around him now! :)
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
You speak the truth!
oohwee. very hot! though i'm beginning to wonder how they deal with the pressure of not getting caught.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Me too, sister. Me too. O.o Thanks for R&R!
This was delicious! And, "letting the notion of Irma Pince’s private life go unexamined" made me laugh. She probably feels the same way about him.It was also funny that no matter what amazing things he was doing to her, somewhere in the back of her mind, the well being of the books on the shelf takes precedence.Oh, did I mention how hot the library scene was *fans self*Love it! Must have more!
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
"Moar!" she cried. "Moar," quoth I. "Ten-four. Can do. Yes Maam." :D
I will leave you with the first words that came *ahem* to mind: "Good bubotubers! Why, oh why did I quit smoking?" And yes, I do use 'good bubotubers' frequently.Thank you for the extra fun in one week. Much appreciated. *waves from under the mountain of papers to grade*
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Bubotubers iz good? *contemplates bubotuber omelet* Ah, you had papers to grade. Good old November. Now it is January. Soon they will be drifting like teh drivn sno all across your desk. Will try to keep a wee bit of fanfiction of drifting across yr desktop. :D
<<Figured some of you would probably rather read this chapter a little sooner than later, if the preview was all that was lacking.>>Well, I'd rather get lost in the library with a certain Potions Master, but, eh, this will do. [grin]
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
*g* Yes, me too. Thanks, friend! (h)
Yay! You absolutely and completely rock! Fab chapter! Naughtiness in the restricted section... I don't know about Hermione's fantasies but it's certainly one of mine! :) I was without internet for 36 hours and nearly went insane. So imagine my delight at your wonderful update when it all started working again :D Thank you for an excellent chapter and you can probably guess just how excited I am for the next update :))) Loveyoulots SG x
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Thanks, SG. I'm am shamefacedly responding to reviews from, yes, November. Just know that I got it and read it and loved it and am now thanking you for it. *le squish*
So much love to you! Wonderful, WONDERFUL chapter. So lovely. So, so good. On tenterhooks for the next one! :D
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Love back to you! *snugglesquish* *looks at date on review* *gulps* Happy New Year! :D
Only Hermione would have a special sneaking around list, she is so adorable. I love all the "talismans" Severus has in his pockets, how romantic. He is simply perfect.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
He is a bunny, isn't he? *looks around* Hope he didn't hear me say that--he'd curse me into next year. :D
Whew! I'm exhausted just reading about all the things that happened in this chapter. The battle of wills between Severus and Draco was fierce– enough so to give even Severus a bloody nose! Poor Draco. He doesn't want to do the task Voldemort has set him, but he sees no way out. And this reminded me that before the term was out, Severus would have to kill Dumbledore, and Hermione would have to try to make sense of what has happened. She is so happy now, and I can only imagine how devastated she will be. And it's not the kind of thing that Severus could tell her about before hand. There were several things that made me laugh, too. Hermione's list making cracked me up. Only she would make a list of all the things she needed to do for her part in this newly discovered love affair. But I have to admit that all of them were important things. I loved it when she inserted 3a between 3 and 4.The book the young Slytherins were poring over in their Common Room was a hoot, too. But even funnier than that was when Severus reduced it in size and put it in his own pocket. I'm sure he will enjoy reading ‘101 Ways to Drive a Witch Wild, by the editors of WQ Magazine,' and coming up with his own list of ways to please Hermione. The description of how he thought of her handkerchief was good for another laugh: "It was another talisman: his lady’s favour, embroidered with tiny pink flowers and stiff with dried tears and snot." I probably laughed harder at this than anything else... until you said in your A/N: It has sssuch interesting things in its pocketses, Preciousss! There's a little of Gollum in all of us. LOL!Thanks for a wonderful and busy chapter, Cori. It's been a real pleasure.Beth
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Hi Beth. Well now. November 18. Yes, I remember November. Barely. :D Thanks, as always, for your kind and detailed review. Glad you enjoyed the snotty handkerchief. Like the kids say these days, just keeping it real. xoc
Wondeful! I can't wait for the next chapter . . . must have it soon! So much tension.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
Thanks! *smoochies*
Poor Severus, he has to try to help Draco and keep Hermione from spilling the beans.
Response from corianderpie (Author of Caramel)
True, he always has so much on his plate. Much of it of the cold spinach variety. Happily Hermione is something much sweeter than the usual!
