Excellent. Yes, Adin was the head of a family that came back with Zerubbabel, the ancestor of Jesus. Very good symboliosm: Leaving Babylon to return to the Promised Land. I can feel the freedom and empowerment he is feeling. Very moving.

I loved Severus' dialogue with the sorting hat...

You again?’ the sly voice said.

‘Shut up,’ Severus snarled disrespectfully.

‘I was right about Slytherin House,’ the Hat continued gleefully.

‘Shut up,’ Severus snapped, every bit as irritated as he had expected to be.

‘Well, do you have any bright ideas this time?’ the Hat inquired, managing to sound both solicitous and mocking.

Then there was Hermione giggling uncharacteristically! (he he!) Perhaps the first hint of attraction?

While I take it to be in Severus' nature to take a single room, it would also make it easier for him to catch up with the girl with the Gryphon tattoo...Do I smell a hint of lemons?

I am enjoying this immensely and as ever am waiting for the next chapter even though I have just finished this one. Thankyou ever so much for all your (and your beta elves) hard work.

It was fun to see Diagon Alley with Severus -- almost like seeing it for the first time.

Goodness, the things you know! 

I have enjoyed these two chapters immensely, as usual, and look forward to the next.  Severus as a teen isn't a new idea, but I somehow trust you to do a better than average job.  Shouldn't be a stretch for a writer of your abilities. No, I'm not brown-nosing--it's all true.

Now I just know that gryphon tat is on Hermione's posterior, and I can't wait until Our Dear Severus discovers that!

I can't imagine what Snape will be like as a student this time. Will Dumbledore tell the staff? I bet that will be fun.

Well, I'm hooked. Bother and the midnight blue dress robes did it for me.

I like this - though I think I've read it as you published it on another archive - Voles? - first.

But I prefer your other current story and hope you get back to it soon.

I am intrigued by the new pureblood school and how it may figure in the story...

I agree with him.  If the only future that awaits you is a rapid death, why not spend all of your money?  What are you saving it for?  And here he has some freedom from the responsibilities of adulthood, so why not get a fast broom and have some fun?  There definitely are some trade-offs to this plan of Dumbledore's.  I'm glad to see he is taking advantage of them.

1. Nice gryff tie on the graphic. Wonder where he will be sorted lol.

2. Intriguing premise you've got here. I wonder how ol' Sev likes redoing seventeen...I hope he has a better experience this time around! Imagine if he decided to not go back to his real age...I can't wait to see what you've got in store for us!

Another fine chapter with some truly hilarious moments--Sev's temptation to give Dumbledor the "two-fingered salute" was priceless!  And of course he needs a Kneazle.  Only a Kneazle would have enough attitude to hold its own as a familiar of his!  Can't wait until Bother and Crookshanks meet--could be an explosive encounter...

my favorite thing in this chapter is bother.  i love that she picked him, and surely having a kneazle like that will also help provide cover for him.  i, too, am wondering what house he will end up in.  am looking forward to watching this story unfold!  :D

Very nice.  I really like the addition of Bother--and the name itself!!!! It made me giggle and go watch Potter Puppet Pals again (any excuse would have done for that, though).
