There's nothing sexier than when ones significant other is extolling your virtues without knowing you're listening. That should have been a turn on for Hermione. Wish Severus had gone for the angry sex she might loosen up.Nice update, can't wait for the girls night that should be good.

Another great chapter. While Severus, and we the readers, knows that Severus would never cheat on Hermione, I do think he deserved that little ego-boost of having his young wife jelous. Girls nigth out, oh my, I look forward to read that chapter:-))

Hermione definitely has self-esteem issues that makes her extremely hostile in regards to members of the same sex. No doubt she feels threatened by them, even though those fears are completely unfounded. Severus loves her, and is very loyal. Betraying Hermione would never even cross his mind. I don't think Hermione has anything to worry about, unless there's an actual reason. I think she and Professor Holden will become good friends.

Much of what she feels is just that- her own insecurities and she's allowing them to run rampant. She'll get herself sorted out though- eventually ;)

His argument about Durmstrang and dark wizards has some validity. Although you would think the Headmaster would discuss the choices with his Deputy before making a decision.

Very Interesting chapter, how will they all work together. Hermione needs to get her act together soon or she will push Sev into the arms of another. I think all he wants is for Hermione to love him. Great chapter can't wait for the cats to play next

Fabulous chapter, livvy! I love the jealous Hermione. And aparantly Hremione's "green-eyed monster" amuses Severus, too.Professor Domansk's attitude about the Deputy Headmistress has gotten him off to a bad start. It's not a good career move to piss off both Severus AND Hermione. I'm betting he will be eating a helping of humble pie before all is said and done.There are so many things that can go wrong with the "Girl's Night Out" — please tell me Hermione doesn't drink too much. She's never been one to hold her liquor very well. Oh Ho! This is going to be spectacularly riotus. And I can't wait!Well done, livvy. As magical as always.Beth

Yes, I would say Hermione is jealous alright. I have a feeling Severus will get it out of her why she is so, though I doubt he will understand why. Great chapter!

Severus says that being Headmaster, Potions professor, & Head of Slytherin would be too much work.But, Hermione has to be Deputy Headmistress, Charms professor, & Head of Gryffindor, not to mention this being all new for her and that's not a problem to him.Granted, I realize that being Headmaster is more work than being Deputy Head, but still, it doesn't seem fair.He should not have laughed at her being jealous! My husband laughed at me for being afraid of something once ....

Oh, this is so, so good! "She was, in fact, pretty much everything that Hermione might have looked like if her body had done what she had wanted and had developed." Too funny!I don't understand this feeling of having to urinate that HG is experiencing. Odd.Prof. Holden seems proficient enough that she could be the Deputy Head and Hermione could then devote herself to Gryffindor. Definitely looking forward to the Durmstrang crew arriving.

I came upon this after reading about it on Potter Place. I read the first chapters in one go so I didn't leave reviews for them (offers you a 
to apologize). I thought I was looking for this paticular chapter but after the note you left "That will be a problem as her jealousy spirals out-of-control." I think I will look forward to the next few chapters to come with great impatience. You've done a really good job since the beginning and I really enjoy the whole thing immensely.

Hermione has made progress! Yay! She still has a need to understand more about her own body and its responses during their lovemaking, but she will get there. Perhaps a little talk with Rosmerta and Rosie will help her to understand so she can relax and enjoy. Maybe Poppy could help her understand, as well.Severus clearly loves her, so I hope she will be able to talk to him soon about her feelings of inadequacy and inexperience. He tends to blame himself, and that's not the case to all. He is patient and tender; she is inexperienced and still carrying around the baggage of the bad advice that her mother gave her.Good job!!!Beth

I cannot figure out what the deal is with Hermione's bladder. If she feels she needs to void during sex, perhaps she should go before indulging. I can understand her feeling the ugly duckling around all those lovely swans of female teachers. Being insecure in herself will only make things worse and jealously can be ugly, too. Hermione has issues. Perhaps it is too soon after the war for her to try to live a "normal" life. She is young and has taken on a lot of responsibility. Severus has been a wonderful support for her. He has been loving, patient, complimentary and desirous of her and her alone. His eyes do not seem to stray to the other females and he seems to feel blessed to have Hermione for his wife.
