wow what a great chap... i love severus in this i think you write him perfectly... i mean of course he is snarky but what would he be like to his true love? i think you have written that here... also what would hermione be like i mean you read all these stories about her being a virgin but being a seductress and knowing exactly what her body needs but she wouldn't no one really does so i think that you have written her doubt and self esteem issues very well and i definitely love how they finally broke that last barrier and truly open up to each other and be vulnerable to the other... ohh and i love her fantasy of severus in the potion lab that will be a hot chap to read!!! I love that you had the reference of bookends in this chap you really brought meaning to the chap... and i love it fab story

I'm so glad you are enjoying it! I was so annoyed with the virgin Hermione with multiple orgams stories. I just wanted to write from a viewpoint that many of my friends told about their first times and some friends I had that really had a hard time with sex altogether, plus I love seductive Snape. Hermione needed to be seduced and I had a lot of fun with the fantasy chapter! lol.Thanks!

Delightful chapter! First everthing is wonderfully perfect, then everything goes to hell, and then back to even more perfect.A Hermione and Severus on a crusade is a welcome sight to behold. They seem to be less on their toes when everything is going well, some people are not at their best unless under pressure.Severus desperation not to let Hermione go scared me for a moment. I totally understand Hermione's POV, but the fact that Severus will be with her no matter what is so touching.However, I feel really bad for Professor Holden. It seems like she is going to be let go not because of her job performance but because of Hermione's insurcurities and Severus' lack of office etiuqette.

Another great chapter. Love how their relationship has grown. That Astoria Greengrass needs a butt spanking (and not in a good) and Skeeter needs to DIE!! Can't wait to find out what happens at the staff meeting (have a feeling that Domask has something to do with it).

He played with her hair tenderly as he continued. “It’s been difficult, coming to terms with all of this. Life has always led me down one road with which I felt familiar and was fully aware of the burdens that would come along. This life with you is a road that keeps shocking me at every turn. Nevertheless, I would be a liar if I didn’t say I love every moment. I never thought I would be a man to enjoy surprises and the unknown behind every turn, but with you it makes it all exciting and intriguing,” he said softly.Somehow I don't think that The Bitch's article in he Daily Prophet was the "exciting and intriguing" that Severus was talking about . That Skeeter woman is really asking for it, and I think Hermione is just the witch to give it to her!“You just HAD to spend every Monday night with her! You just HAD to listen to her sob stories. You just HAD to put yourself in a position to be judged!” she screamed as she took the tea tray and hurled it across the room. Severus’ face was dumbstruck by the force of how it crashed into the opposite wall.She burst into tears. “It’s just too hard. I have to keep fighting everything and everybody for every bit of happiness, and I can’t do it anymore!” she sobbed. When I read this I felt like some evil thing had reached inside my chest and crushed my heart in its gnarly fist. I swear! tears came to my eyes. But I could see Hermione's point, and Severus needed to realize that his actions, as innocent as they had been, had brought this down on their heads.I thought for sure that Hermione was gone, that Severus would put on that brave face and wait for her to come to her senses... but thank Merlin he understood just how badly his wife had been hurt and embarrassed, and he did the one thing, a completely honest thing, that showed Hermione that this marriage was worth saving. He fell to his knees and begged. He swore to her that he would break his wand and go where ever she wanted to go and live as a Muggle if only she would remain a part of his life. That was some powerful writing, my dear!!!It was fitting that the entire gallery of the Headmasters portraits agreed with Hermione, and left no room for second guessing on Severus' part. Hermione was going to set things aright in her own house, and then she would set thing aright in the staff meeting, and then she would deal with the Skeeter bitch. Sounds like a plan to me, and I love it when a plan comes together!!!Great chapter, and a Thousand Points to your House!Beth

I couldn't see her staying in that enviornment with a husband who couldn't see how much pressure was bearing down on her young shoulders. So I had her at that door and then suddenly- writer's block! I didn't know where to send her what to do. Then this desperate Severus came into my head, on his knees and throwing his pride to the ground. It was exactly what she needed. Hermione needed to have some control over this whole thing. So for her to stay, Severus needed to agree to her terms, which meant Holden is gone, and she gets to clean house. There is a rat in their midst and she is going to smoke it out. She's going to show her husband how she is to be seen in public as his equal and he will, in a very public way. I am about to fall down on my knees for thanking you for this magnificant chapter!!!There were some secconds there when Hermione walked to the door where I litterly felt my hart fell down to my toes, but boy did your Severus turn this Catastrophe into a victory for them as a couple! I don't think, at least as I can remember, I have ever read a Severus who have saved a situation like this better than done in this chapter!!! I can hardly wait to read the chapter with the staffmeeting and explutation of certain students, to say that I am looking forward to it would be the understatement of the year. I am absolutely not surprised that Phineus Black were on Hermiones side with regards to Severus punishment. The man is Slytherin to the boone, even as a painting, and probably knows very well that the punishment will end up quite enjoyable for the punished...:-))(Please take the five stars and multiply them a couple of times, this chaper sure deserves it)

Too much going on for them. They need to get their marriage solidified. They didn't get a proper honeymoon and it's so important to the stability of a marriage to have that time at the beginning of a marriage to be alone and learn one another. So, I pushed it back, besides, there is WAY too much going on that the Snapes are unaware of. It's all about to blow up in their faces and they'll need to stand strong and united.Thanks,

Oh my, now there is one strong and determined witch! I really like how you paced that last scene. I thought, just like Hermione, but for different reasons, that Severus wouldn't know how to stop her at the door. I am so glad he did. I see it as the birth of a new Hermione.
