I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Sev's having naughty thoughts. Hermione may not be ready yet, but she will be in time, I am sure! They have a bond now of shared experience that no-one else can understand. :)

Well, it would appear that Severus has strong affection for Hermione. And, the fact thar he acknowledged said feelings makes it that much more endearing, It's obvious that Hermione feels the same towards Severus, but she has yet to realize it.

I think Dumbledore might just nudge are two survivors together. Poor Hermione and Severus they deserve some happiness after all this death and sorrow. Great Chapter!

Poor Hermione had a lot placed on her shoulders by Kingsley, and she doesn't even know it yet. This chapter has a feel of quiet desperation to it.

What a bleak picture you drew, in my mind's eye I see a kind of Armagetton. It will be interesting to see how this story develops.

I love this new story, Bookends. You have a wonderful way of writing the characters. Thanfully you update quickly so there are no months and months of withdrawl symptions waiting for a new chapter.

Grand update! I think having them clean up the storage was a great idea. Neutral ground where they could both be comfortable (eventually). Keep up the good work!

I'm glad Hermione "cleaned house", there is only room for one Death Eater (Ok, former Death Eater) at Hogwarts. I do feel sorry for Professor Holden, she was innocent in all this and she was deeply hurt.
