I have just read this whole story up to this chapter and I love it. But what does that last line mean? Her Floo is open. I hope Severus hasn't been a bad boy. OR is it a past thing? Hmmmm......Great job!

I am so glad Hermione got past her fear of sex, but she needs to let herself go a little, she's holding back. I think her jealousy of Severus is, of course, very flattering. I wonder if any of the men will hit on her.

I love this story! It was veery brutal but I liked the idea of there being no survivors and Severus and Hermione only having eachother to depend on. Looking forward to more.

I wanted to write a more relaistic approach to sex between two people who haven't known each other all that long in a grown-up sense(b/c Hermione was his student for six years. THere will be passion and moments of insecurity, but they will work through them together.

Per usual, Rita Skeeter has created chaos in the wake of war. While there is an undeniably ripe situation present in Severus's and Hermione's relationship, they have done their very best to make the revival of Hogwarts their priority. And why wouldn't they begin to have feelings for each other; after all, they are the only two magical beings in the entire nation to have survived the final battle with Voldemort — a singular accomplishment, to be sure!But Kingsley has an idea for a solution to the uproar Skeeter has caused, and I like his idea. Now lets see what our hero and heroine think of it.Great reading. Thanks,Beth

Cruel, cruel cliffwriter! Leaving the reader hanging like that is about as amusing as a man chuckling at an inexperienced woman!
Actually, I'm serious about that last part! Why does everyone write about an innocent, inexperienced woman where her prospective lover is laughing at her ineptness? Would he prefer she be a slut? Surely him finding humor in the fact that she hasn't been loose and lascivious with every boy/man on the block would cause her to not only doubt herself, doubt whether he is worthy of her, but also put her off sex completely if her morals are fodder for ridicule. Think about it! First time with someone you like and so vulnerable -- and he's laughing at you! I apologize. I’m not slamming you ... it's just the concept. I love this story.

Oh! That wasn't how I meant that at all. Actually, Severus thought she was precious and wasn't laughing at her, he was enjoying how much her innocence made him feel so happy. If anything, her innocence was a turn-on. I'll have that cleared up in the next chapter. There will be times he will be insensitive and cruel in his confusion over what she was raised to believe about sex, but for now, he is happy and pleased as punch she agreed to marry him. I promise, Severus will be more clear and sensitive about things--at first, then he'll be a git like all men can be when it comes to us women and our insecurities.Thanks for reviewing!

Another great chapter. I like your Virgin!Hermione who doesn't go round offering her "core" to him, but who is shy and just very unsure about what to do (not that I don't like slutty Virgin!Hermione, just that yours is more believable). Looking really forward to the next chapter, hating Portus and the slow updates!!!!gab
