I am so happy to see Severus was able to break through some of her barriers. I think one of the keys was his willingness to allow Hermione to mourn her losses without having to hide them from him and his pushing her to take control of her classes by asserting her power. When you feel powerful in one aspect of your life then it will flow over into others. Hermione's academic power and confidence can only help in more intimate matters.

WOW. I loved reading how their relationship has grown from them being the only "battle" survivors to husband and wife. Can't wait until Hermione tells Snape what she wants and how she wants it.

' “I’d like to think of you as the Charms instructor during the day, my dear.'You must have some rotten bastard foul quotes book at hand that you get these horrid 'cut Hermione down' lines from! This is another Ace-#1 Whiz-bang Cruel Shot To The Heart Most Awful Thing To Say ... the whole bit about her being the Charms professor and then he counters that with wanting to kiss her in his office. Such mixed messages, it's no wonder the poor girl is in a tizzy! 
Even though she had a decent come-back, he still ended up kissing his Charm's prof and then chastises her for looking like she'd been kissed ... another slam to her delicate sensibilities. 
They need to establish an equality. She is still seeing him as the authority figure and he is still treating her like the young girl. All that needs to be set aside and they must stand on an equal and level field with one another. And thank goodness for Emilie!

Things are going to be better I can tell. Thanks to the French experience (I know I'm a bit chauvinistic here but it can't be helped sometimes ;-D) I also hope to see Severus's face when she 'll gather the courage to speak to him about her fantasies. Mmmm.

Fantastic! Hermione is finally understanding. I wonder what fantasy she will write down and give to Severus. I wait with bated breath for the next chapter. The scene in the common room was WOW, I probably would have done the same thing if I had been Hermione.

Well, bless Hermione's heart. Insecurities are a bitch and and lead normally sane folk to behave like total idiots. She really showed her fanny in the Slytherin Common Room. But her loving hubby was able to tell her the truth she needed to hear: “Hermione, you’re more than enough.”And, yes, he's going to have to speak to Rosie. Should have done it when he went to see her the night she had brought Hermione home from the Girl's Night Out.What a fortunate happenstance that Hermione ran into Emilie when she did. Actually it was fortunate for Hermione and Severus! Great chapter!!!

I'm glad Hermione talked with Emilie. She now knows she's not the only young woman to have the same insecurities. I think Hermione should take Emilie's advice about writing down her fantasies, and slipping them to Severus. He'll have a better understanding of what Hermione wants, and it'll turn him on more. I see the next chapter is already in queue: I can't wait until it posts!

Snape's peace offering in his office was quite touching. I can't imagine how overwhelmed Hermione must have felt to do what she did, but Snape's confirmation that he has loved her since before their wedding should help somewhat. I think he's definitely right about her parents. Emilie seemed an unlikely ally, but I hope Hermione finds it in her to take some of that advice!Great chapter!

Poor Hermione, it must be hard for her to trust any of these women feeling as she does. I loved the scene where she overheard the slytherin students.

That was a cringe worthy confrontation in the Slytherin commonroom. However, Severus was discussing Hermione with someone he knows she is jealous of, and in a place students could have overheard. That was not right on both counts. The talk Hermione had with the other woman, was she one of the French women? If so, I guess they have decided to be nice to her after all? It helps to have a woman explain in more detail what she has been experiencing. I don't know though, it sounds like Severus wants to ship her off to Australia.

Ah, thanks heaven for Emilie, finally someone who put Hermione on the rigth track:-) I hope Hermione will take her advice to hart and start practicing asap:-)For Severus, he does get a good amount of points for telling Hermione he loves her, and I can grant him some leeway for not knowing exactly how to handle this situation, waste knowlegde of the female mind would not be his strong side I guess (a faith he share with most men:-)). I do give him detention though for discussing Hermione with Samantha. I don't care how innocent it was from his point of view, he put himself in a situation Hermione had all reason to misunderstand. I can understand that he reacted to Hermione discussing/ mentioning their private life to the other withches, but the situation can not compare with his "conversation" with Samantha. I highly doubt that he would have "understood" if he found Hermione having a conversation about them with Prof. Selinski? That said, I do so look forward for the next update!!!

Well now we should be getting some where. I think Hermione is finally seeing the light and realizes shes not abnormal. Hopefully thing will get better for her, if she can only get over her jealousy. Another great chapter looking forward to the next one, update soon.

You know, you capture the insecurities of young women exceptionally well. I felt so bad for Hermione when she burst in on Profs. Holden and Snape. Now she'll have to deal with the humiliation brought on by the scene she made in addition to the initial insecurity. But, glad she finally found a girl to confide in!

Being older, he had a lot of sexual experience and I was young and didn't. I was well educated, traveled extensively, but when it came to sex, I was woefully ignornat. I found out through other friends that I wasn't the only woman to feel that way as a young bride.Hermione will have to face the music with Professor Holden, but there will be something else that will pop up that will make the outburst Hermione made seem like child's play. THe next chapter will be very good for our couple.Thanks!Livvy

They live in a fishbowl. And I agree with Hermione about him talking to Samantha about her leaving. That was absolutely inconsiderate. He is older and should think about what is going on.
