I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Thanks! This was certaintly a very angst-filled chapter, I can't say there won't be anymore, but Severus will begin to acknowledging things and face facts instead of being afraid and tormented all the time.Livvy

I am really excited about how people are going to see how Lucius develops in this fic. He is normally portrayed as a vicious psychopath. I had a lot of fun working with him. Lucius will continue to talk to Severus about Hermione.Livvy

Poor Claudia! What a dreadful life. The dialog amongst the Slytherin males seemed to be very authentic, from what I have heard from real life men. Ugh. Again, I say, poor Claudia! Looking forward to more.

I like Claudia, but I also pity her. I have the feeling her life won't be a happy one and will be short.

I love the chapter even though I don't understand how it all ties togeather yet.I love how you word things,it makes you fell like your in the room with Severus(and who wouldn't like that!)

Claudia sounds so sweet and bears such a resemblance to Hermione. The picture is really pretty. 
I'm glad that Severus's prefect watches his back, but couldn't she be a bit more obvious? 
Poor Severus, thinking he's totally on his own. I loved the Potions tutorial - he was so spot on perfect. He really made Claudia think, reationalize and push herself. 
I'd have hugged him too if he'd helped me raise my grade! git

I'm glad you immediately picked up the resemblance to Hermione. It will come back to haunt him in the future. As for Kathy, the prefect, she is convinced that Snape would hex her into next year if he knew she was helping him. But perhaps he does know, he acknowledged her presence and thanked her"for staying out of it", perhaps maybe staying out of it in a way that she helps, but doesn't let on so he can save face in front of the Mauraders?Thanks, there is the budding future Potions master in there. He is annoyed with people who are not like Lily, who was a natural at Potions. Unfortunately, he will do a lot of comparing Claudia to Lily. Too bad, he's so repressed.Thanks for reviewing!Livvy

omg I looove it u have captured pureblood life and etiquette so amazingly 
characterisation is excellent too and I think claudia is the cutest thing ever especially in the early chapters when she asks snape for help with potions onto chapter 3 !!

Wow! What a wonderful story! Sometimes, I hated Severus very much. Thanks for Hurt the story, for Hurt, the song and for remenbering me the quotation, "The woods are mysterious, lovely, dark and deep....but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I can sleep...." that I had heard long time ago in a old movie.

That was exactly the reaction I was hoping for when I ended this chapter. I hope you like how I wrap up Claudia's story in Chapter Five. Severus will suffer terribly for his callousness and cavalier attitude towards Claudia.Livvy
Wow, you apit a sureal pureblood social etiquette. No wonder, given Severus' personality he'd learn the rules and moreys so quickly! I really feel sorry for Claudia. Severus isn't spending any time letting her get to know him at all!

Because she is so young, it wouldn't be proper, besides, the more distance from him the less problems there will be from Claudia about Severus' love for Lily. She's basically being sold as a brood mare for the pure-blood cause. Very sad.Livvy

Yes, Severus is definately being sucked into all the glamor and glitz of the pure-blood" world. What is so ironic is that Claudia, having been born into that world, wants nothing more than to be loved.Livvy
the burden snape is carrying in this fic (even though created by his own actions) is truly mind boggling....... i hope u show some relief for him at the end!!!!!! but u sure are ignoring ron!!!!

I see no difference.Very creative take on that line! I am enjoying this story more and more. I've said it before, I think, but I'll say again that I find the psychology of this story quite to my liking.
