Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

Ohmigosh, what an intensity there is between them. So Severus is to have one child, hmmm? Would that be Hermione's first (hopefully) or her last (oh my gods, nine children!)? Thanks for this great story. I look forward to the next update.

Thank you. Oooh that would be telling :)
Her dreams are throwing me a little. I know we are actually reading her memories rather than what's currently happening (although, does that mean that she is still currently sitting at her table with present-day Severus??) but with the addition of the dream flashbacks I'm wondering if the dreams themselves are of real things or imagined. Are we looking at memories within memories?? I am really looking forward to finding out why exactly Sev altered her memories and sent her away. And since they had this connection I wonder what that means for her and Ron - although I guess no matter what she will still have 8 kids with the man whether she chooses to stay with him or not. Anyway, again, looking forward to seeing more of this tale and what is to become of our couple.

Yes she's still sitting at the table with present day severus and those of snatches of the nightmares she can remember having after the battle. :)You shouldn't have long to wait - the end is in sight.
Oh man, I am loving this story and was thrilled for an update. I am anxious to see how it ends. So many questions need answered!!

I take it you liked it
That's brilliant. Their first lovemaking was so intense yet sweet and the real emotion between them was very palpable. Very interesting that the eight children showed up on the "hand of possibility", so it doesn't seem to be inescapable - hmmmm, does that mean that there is a chance Severus will be able to reverse those horrible years?
Very much looking forward to more!

Thank youNearing the end now, so you won't have to wait much longer to find out what happens :)Thanks again fro reviewing.
Clever beginning and yet ANOTHER reason I would never want to be 17 again.
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
yeah, I know what you mean
It is so terrible to think she had Severus Snape with her, and felt these amazing things with him, only to end up married to Ron, with eight children and none of her dreams having come true. I only hope there is a way for Severus to change what her life became.

You'll have to keep reading to find out. thanks for leaving a review
That was very passionate lovemaking scene and very realistic for first time lovers. Hermione deftly handled those things that don't quite go as planned and calmly guided Severus towards the goal. They seem so right together it makes me wonder how in the world the charm responsible for her marriage to Ron was able to match them up in the first place. Now that Severus has returned 19 years later; Ron is frequently unfaithful, she has eight children, no career, and she has always been in love with a another man. What can she do, though? Was Severus's question about if she could live her life over again and make the same choices rhetorical?
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
She ended up with Ron because she was thinking about him at the time - albeit negatively.Nearly at the end now, so you'll find out soon enoughThanks for reviewing.
I've just read the six chapters straight through - couldn'ttear myself away. Great plot idea, and excellent writing.I really got involved with the characters, and look forwardto reading more.

great chapter. i liked the building of the emotions between them, not to mention the combustible consummation. *fans self* but i'm feeling rather sad at what is to come in the (probably very near?) future after this scene. i hope we don't have to wait long for the next!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you. The end is in sight. Chapter is more or less written, just needs to be tidied up in places. Hope to get it posted in the next week.

Simply brilliantly written and so erotic... to think JK thought she should end up with Ron? Gads... Ok, gotta go find my boyfriend... boy is he in for a surprise!
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Thank you so much. Ron, yeah the less said about that the better - a disaster waiting to happen.
Amazing. Simply amazing, mystery author.
And it makes me hurt all the more that she ended up with Ron.

Those girls are in big trouble LOL
Response from melusin (Author of Three Blooms in the Cauldron)
Indeed they are
Exceptional, brilliant story. I'm so glad this is a SSHG story, otherwise it would never have been announced on the WIKTT list and I would never have read the absolutely amazing first two chapters. You are great with irony and now it seems that you are good with romance, too.
Wonderful, wonderful reading experience.
